This is just my opinion and my take. But when you think about it so far Maya and Rhea had been in control of whatever was happening,all they had to do was get rid of obstacles. But now with this engagement,they won't know what to do or they won't understand what's going on giving Ranbir control of the situation. Idk how he will get out of this engagement but in a way it makes sense,idk let's see

At this point more than Rhea I so want to see Maya getting scared to death and going down. Atleast Rhea has a motive,but Maya would go to any extent for money huh :3 I so want her to be defeated and scared out of her mind for even being so greedy
