I saw this comment when I had to take a call at 2:30 AM, don't ask me why I opened this forum at that time😲 I itched to write back a reply then, as this is very close to my heart, but common sense prevailed and reminded me I needed my sleep, in case I have another call and another problem I had to tackle😃 So, here I am several hours later.

I will try to explain my stand about " blackmail". ( sorry, this IF is not letting me bold text from your comment😔). This is very, very close to my heart. I will write this more so, people can start thinking about this. Some of the people who know me from before know that I have written books about this topic😲. Chandu, Silpa if you guys are reading, I will try not to bore you again with my elaborate explanation and try to keep it as abbreviated as possible.

As a child, I have seen at close quarters how my aunt suffered from "blackmail" by my uncle: seemingly insignificant stuff on the surface. But, at the heart of the matter is the big, bad control game and a power struggle in the marriage. Silent treatment if she didn't comply with simple things, such as attending a function at her brother's house when he didn't want to. Or refusing to eat when her or his children did something he didn't want them to, or asked him for something he didn't sign off on, so on and so forth. I think you get the idea. Nothing earth shattering for a third party, no big deal to complain about in the grand scheme of things, but for the person who has to bear with it, it is a death blow every time this happens, every time you have to do something against your will because you are being twisted by somebody. I was always amazed at how the situation took a different flavor altogether. Suddenly, the victim ( my aunt ) is now the perpetrator for keeping the uncle starving. It is very simple to do his bidding and end the matter. I saw how she lost her soul, how insecure she had become over the years. Unfortunately, this is the story of hundreds of thousands of women ( may be some men too ) around the world. A suffering which cannot be voiced out loud or complained about, as this seems so petty to an onlooker.

That is when I decided, I am never going to be the person who will " blackmail" anybody and will never give into blackmail. In other words, I don't take crap from anybody. MILI'S HOUSE HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY to blackmail, just like the US govt. doesn't give in to blackmail, ransom threats etc😃. Pardon my grandiosity. I have been able to follow this with utmost diligence till now, I don't know what the future holds😕Even, my 9 year old doesn't get an ultimatum, such as clean up your room, empty the dishwasher OR your TV privileges go away and so forth. She is told that she has to do these things to pull her weight and help out in running a busy household. I am being told by my friends that I will have to bargain and barter as we enter into her teenage years, cross my heart, I hope I don't have to do that😒. So, these are my views about blackmail in general. I hope I haven't lost some of you reading, with this discourse.

As for the show, I am a little confused about what you were referring to. I may be off too with the specifics, as I haven't watched for a while. I am solely referring to Rohit Sippy giving in to blackmail and throwing his wife out of the house and to keep her away calling her an infidel😡💔 This, I cannot bardasht any which way, I twist myself. This guy along with his responsibilities as a son, nephew, grandson, also has a responsibility of being a husband. If he gave in to the blackmail of " I will kill your father, mother or wife" if you don't throw your wife away, how do I appreciate this guy? How do I respect such a coward? This is not what I would expect from a protagonist. I prefer somebody who goes down kicking and screaming, not who just gives up and drowns his miseries in alcohol. Isn't Sona's grief just as bad, why is she moving heavens and earth to make something out of her life and not drowning herself in alcohol too?

Neither am I impressed with his great husbandly act of "protecting" his Sona from the evil clutches of his family or helping her from the shadows. Itna buzdil hain, ki he puts up a show to the world and wrong her in the eyes of the world? Yeh undying love hain? Aise love ko toh, I don't understand💔 I know I have an axe to grind about Sona altogether, but here I am simply focusing on Rohit Sippy, a character I had immense respect for at one point💔👎🏼

First off, I think killing somebody through an app is stupid. There is some technology that exists, I am not up to date with how far along this is. But, I can tell you with conviction that the pacemaker companies are not stupid to leave such a loophole free for perpetrators to get hold of. If this is so, there would have been hundreds of murders around the world. Easy na, click a button on your phone and kill without any evidence. Secondly, if he knows that particular pacemaker is hacked, couldn't he have had the generator replaced and end the problem? It is in his hands. Thirdly, how long is he going to let Nishi twist him? What is his plan in dealing with her? He is going to wait for Naren to be able to walk and talk so he can put Nishi behind bars? He is a doctor right, doesn't he know about the uncertainty of the situation? How does he know that Naren is going to be well enough to give such a testimony ever? Just think about it, instead of his spouse, what if he had a child. And if Nishi said, put that child on the road or I will kill her/him in this house, would he have done that? Can we justify that he is doing this for the salamati of that child?

This is where I am coming from. Sorry people, if I have overdosed you with Mili's gyaan🥱. I hope I haven't confused some of you. Long lectures are an occupational hazard with me😲. I would be happy to hear any other perspectives, as always😃

I had to scratch my head too as the supposed doctors in the round table were asking Rohit, what should we do now? 😲 Overall, I don't like the fact they are going to use this gimmick while the whole world is in the midst of an almost pandemic and real panic mode. It seems insensitive on the part of the makers to cash in on the panic of a current event. I hope they don't give false information, feed untruths or create a false sense of security😡 I will have my ammunition ready if they do this. hmm i know this problem of silent blackmailing by spouses.it seems not at all a problem to outsiders but the victim loses her soul .how exactly u put it .i will PM U REGARDING this tomorrow .its so personal to me too

as to rohit character it died the moment he gave in to black maill so simply without putting up a fight .what if tomorrow he has a child and nishi says kill the child otherwise i will kill u r dad .then he will give up so easily he did with sonakshi he never even put up a fight .rohit charcater turned to be so disgusting .i know we both loved rohit character so much at one point of time

yes pace makers cant be hacked REMOTELY .THEY CAN BE HACKED BUT ONLY WHEN U R WITHIN TWENTY FEET .WHAT THEY SHOW IS PURE SXHIT .they made a mockery over pace makers technology
