When The Silence Smiles...
Of the many forms that silence takes,
The most indelible is the silence of hurt.
The world has placed a finger on her pursed lips
To hush her from wailing, told her
The age-old stories of Sita and Savitri
To renounce her pride, to realign her plaint!
But… but, her espousing feminist traits
Never allowed her to be acquiescent!
The bleeding dove started singing a freedom song!
‘I am a free soul, singing a solo no matter what I express
Will see the worlds, the gender-free intellectual cosmos’
Wants to fit those beneath her eyelids.
She finds space in between the splits and cuts
Filled with smiles where it's empty, where it needs hardy!

This painting is looking like a small puzzle piece!! It shows an image of the sky with a little puffed cloud, brilliant white in the middle as sunshine. I can imagine it as a piece of the real sky that has fallen to Earth. The painter picked it up and held it high, showing how it is a perfect match for the blue and white above. 😊
