At this point, it's the same for Ranbir. Outside of him being a love interest for the two girls, what is his purpose to the story? He says he wants to be a rockstar, and a football player, but when have we ever seen him working towards these goals? The fields he wants to get into are extremely tough. He's in his prime age to try out for various concerts, gigs, or matches and competitions. Yet, we've seen nothing.

Heck, given how different the two career prospects are and how the schedules may conflict with each other, we could've gotten an arc with his grades possibly suffering because of how much time he's investing in all these extra curriculars. Or how he's draining his body out at a young age because of how much he's over exerting himself. Possibly, he injures himself during a match and goes through an emotional crisis because he really wanted to become a football player but now is unable to play forever.

OR SOMETHING to make him more complex, and layered. I'm so tired of seeing all these drugs, and sex scandals.

Ekta does too many fakes molestation cases to make sure leads trust each other or realize their feelings and shizz but you can do it in so many other ways :3 it almost feels like romanticizing it

And you are right about everything being centred only around partners and lovers. Even prachi was shown to be a career driven woman but what career, what is she doing. What does she study? And Rhea loves modelling right, atleast she and prachi relatively does something compared to the others. And Don't even get me started on shahna,she is another Aryan but atleast she knocks sense into Prachi when she cans. They show college for the heck of it lol, they'll randomly show them all working and earning and being alll chill in life. I really don't think cvs put as nuch into this like the love and relationship drama . It's nice to see a healthy take on relationship where the male lead doesn't show male toxicity or dominance and actually understands and respects the female but they can show this as well or atleast mention it

Yeah after he went to meet Prachi when they were living in some other house. It was such a nice scene and CVs ruined it as after he went home he put a ring in Rheas hand🤢 asking her to marry her (if I remember correctly). If Prachi gets to know about it he is doomed.

This is indian serials. Here, especially balaji show supposed career people sitting at home engaging in kitchen politics and romance, and shifting entire careers all of a sudden. You really expected them to give that much importance to ranbir's career lol. Now he works in his father's office too.

Yes the whole, showing or mentioning characters with dreams, aspirations, careers and studying is just for the heck of it. In actual cv's only concentrate on drama.

He thinks he owes it to rhea to clear to her first that he doesn't love her and only misunderstood his feelings for her. I mean he's not wrong there, but he's only talking and not doing anything. And the worst part is, aliya and rhea both intended that ranbir will not tell rhea straight to her face about his feelings for prachi because even aliya advised rhea to not let him talk to her about this issue at all and that's what she has been doing. Aliya advised rhea to not let him talk to her about it.
