So the problem with Gully Boy is that it wasnt 2019's top grossing film ??? There's alot of times top grossing films get left out. FF always make up new rules.

It just indicates that Ranveer and Alia are much more popular and they featured in a popular film.

As I said I don't think FF even nominates films in the popular category, it is all left to the audience.

Im saying I think FF awards and BW awards are messed up & have been for years. So GB sweeping everything in 2019 is just more of the same not the worse thing ever

Nope.

I think they are as alright as any award in the world.

Some people may not like gullyboy or Ranveer Singh or Alia Bhatt but this win just indicates that both of them are popular.

FF should start declaring the number of votes received in the popular award section.

This years Filmfare was so boring , not many blockbusters , not many stars . For everything it was just Gully boys awards and stars . It looked more like a Gully boys after party.

Its best actor award not best box office hit actor award

It does not matter if film success or flops

Whoever acts best give them award
