I agree that in the story of hate revenge and deception, the love story has been beautifully written...their dynamics have been well taken care of.. but the problem is the makers have lack of consistency in the pace of the show..

But since the makers have to bring all the characters under one roof hence all this build up.. again I dont find any need of new ppl for no reason.. even this new entry looks like is not gonna have too much to do.. the whole scene was parallel to bringing Nandini and her words about the mauli she tied to both Maya and Rudra.. she is the protector of both here and aditya is an illusion like shruti said.. even being the so called kaala dhaaga he will turn useless..

True. The pace, the consistency and the bharmaar of characters jinke saath justice nahin ho paata. Rudra and Maya have the dhaaga they need - NANDINI & RAJEEV. Aditya will either turn out to be an ally for Rudra and Maya or else just create more trouble. The actor didn't make any impact either.

Your posts are bomb MM.. Most of the time I enjoy them more than the episodes. These days I watch the show out of habit not because I am dying to know what's next .. That's how bad the thriller part is.. My main disappointment with the show is the central protagonist herself.. Maya JaiSingh or Manvi or Maya Rudra Roy whatever she chooses to call herself.. The clarity on her plan to take down MJ was never there as you rightly pointed out. Its hard to believe that she never anticipated or never willingly wanted to face MJ head on.. like ever? How is that rising of a phoenix from the ashes? Or Manvi reborn as Maya JaiSingh who is not weak and gullible like Maya.. This phoenix rose but doesn't dare to take off when she actually confronts her fear.. How is this Maya any different from Manvi if she trembles at the mere feel of presence of her enemy..Sirf kale kapde pehenne se aur baal lambe kar lene se insaan bold nahi ho jata..This is exactly what MJ showed her by chopping her hair. She was like a boss when she was playing her proxy cards from the shadow not having to face MJ.. Even when she entered the Roy mansion she looked like she meant business.. now she has turned into this pitiful, weak person who has to clutch on to Rudra everytime she is around MJ. Why cannot she atleast tell Rudra to ask his father to keep his hands off her since she is touch phobic. Just because Rudra has the licence doesnt mean his father has the right to get touchy with her. And Rudra would understand! And yes,yesterday's act of going after Ananya with a fork was laughable.. I would much rather appreciate her stabbing MJ with a fork. She has every right to get mad at Ananya for spewing venom and making Rudra cry but she is not expected to behave like a lunatic in love.. she said she cannot see him hurt.. what did she think Rudra would have said or felt had she succeeded in hurting or worse killing Ananya? Wow!! Thank god Anu is dead!! Yayy m happy I dont have to put up with her or guilt trip anymore? Like seriously! She already has Rishi's blood on her hands. How would Rudra ever be able to live with the fact that the woman he loved killed the very two people he adored the most? Her sanak, her blind hate should be limited to MJ and everyone else who wronged her.. Rudra Maya story has evolved well and I love their chemsitry but when the main plot is weak its hard to enjoy their scenes in isolation.

One more not so good part is inconsistency in Maya's character.. Maya was in total darkness that she killed Rishi and was even ready to kill Rudra.. then she changed her path at Rishikesh and decided to kill MJ only and end it all here there was a progress in character but then when I saw her holding a fork to hurt Ananaya physically or was that look on her face was as if she is ready to kill her. all this cause she doesn't want to see tears in Rudra eyes.. going this extremes?! It's like she was back to square one.

I really can understand and see her side when she is planning and plotting to kill MJ&Co who destroyed her bur I couldn't see it if she is going to do any harm to Ananaya As much as I dislike Ananya , I still don't want Maya to behave at her worst with Ananya and do something wrong which she will regret it later. Maya already killed Rishi whom Rudra treated more as a son than brother. I don't want her to do any physical harm to Ananya who is only friend to Rudra and where there is a fact is he still cares for her as a friend.

I knew what I'm signing up for when watching ITV serial. they are flawed and cannot be expected to be on the same level as hollywood entertainment. it is what it is. Overall, I think beyhadh2 is fine but the current track is boring and not very thrilling. I understand what makers are trying to do but they really need to focus on the three main players EQUALLY, otherwise the show becomes lackluster. perhaps that is why Ratings dropped, if audience wanted to watch the female cry and be tortured then they would tune into the countless shows being aired right now. A niche and modern audience won't stand for a badass protagonist being reduced to a shivering leaf.

MayRa are married now, and all the sweet romance is nice and necessary. but makers should focus on adding more emotional substance to their relationship. A marriage cannot solely survive on romance and declarations(even though that is important as well) it needs an emotional connect. so that is what the next phase should be. Hopefully Cv's realize this.

These are all just constructive criticisms. otherwise the show isn't all that bad.

Very well articulated post summarizing my own feelings really well. I find a lack of balance in the storytelling the most jarring thing. Be it the revenge mode, romance mode, or the repulsive physical assault mode.

The writer really does love to write MayRa and JenShiv acting and chemistry must be inspiring her to write more for them but like you said time for Maya to accept her husband fully and Rudra to notice his wifes panic and dig deeper.
