I agree that her mother deserves some pain,as she thought of whole family.but at same time I don't fault her mother's past actions,though if she goes in reality then it is wrong on her part.her daughter told her in detail why she was doing everything and making things harder for Armaan will make it even worse.The episode was a drag .
