Jennifer playing Maya is just an added advantage.

because Maya is just like mercury (her state of mind is never stable) neither solid nor liquid (neither good nor bad)

My idea of illusion is that it's a deception.. something that truly doesnt exist..

MJs idea of power is an illusion.. he thinks he has the 7 sin power and his own power of being indestructible which even goes by his name..the same goes with the ppl around him.. when Maya will strike at MJ.. one by one all these illusions will break and fall apart..

Rudra for me on the other hand broke and freed the illusion.. Maya is Manvis illusion which she created for her revenge..Rudra broke that and the one with Rudra now is Manvi and not Maya any more.. Rudra will be instrumental in destroying even MJs illusion world empowering Manvi who will have to do the deed as Maya only without any idea what and how it will strike MJ..

Also I agree being with MJ is easier because of all the worldly pleasures u get.. his money status keeps all this ppl with him who are imprisoned with that.. the day Diya will ask for what manvi asked, she will meet the same fate and we saw that with antara already after that party..

With Rudra he has nothing of those.. so whoever can be with him has to be only out of his love and virtue and its liberating because noone and nothing is holding u back.. u can demand what u want..wether intimate freedom or anything else..

I never saw bh1 well so no comments... but I do feel that the makers this time around have a much stronger story line.. using the concept and character they already designed they have done a wonderful job in making MJ and Rudra as such enigmatic characters..

Well, I agree with you Shruthi. The show is not just about the titular character Maya, it is about the concept of Maya - illusion. Mrityunjay's maya for the world to see, Maya's maya for destroying Mrityunjay's maya and Rudra, who is the destroyer of all forms of maya.

This entire concept of Maya is born out of Mrityunjay's maya. Maya Jaisingh is basically Mrityunjay's feminine version. And that is why she is so badass, mean and basically a dangerous b**tch. Rudra broke through Maya's maya in Hrishikesh. He reached out to Manvi who needed saving because if Maya took over, Manvi would have died. But since Rudra broke through Maya and reawakened Manvi, Maya has been suppressed because Manvi wants to cherish moments with her lover and husband Rudra. And this is the same Manvi who hasn't overcome her trauma-related to Mrityunjay and his manhus family.

Mrityunjay's maya is preying upon the seven weaknesses of people - lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride. And based on this weakness, he uses the people around him. Currently, Mrityunjay is preying on Manvi's weakness - her 'moh' for her loved ones, her 'moh' for love. That is Manvi's weakness - her desire for love. And he has also got to Nandini and Rajiv. So, all of Manvi's weaknesses are out in the open for Mrityunjay to rip her apart again.

But then, when Mrityunjay's maya is all ready to taste victory, that is when we will see the return of Maya, Maya Jaisingh, that Maya Jaisingh who is forged with his own darkness, that Maya Jaisingh who knows through and through about Mrityunjay's maya, his weaknesses, his tactics, and his techniques. And this Maya Jaisingh will be different, why? Because this Maya Jaisingh may have the mind and darkness of Mrityunjay, but she will have the heart and conscience of Manvi who only feels and loves Rudra, her mom, and Rajiv. And later Rudra may also join her quest to bring down Mrityunjay, how I don't know. And Mrityunjay doesn't know this Maya Jaisingh. I am more intrigued by how he will deal with Maya, Manvi may be easy but Mayavi won't be. And Maya ke liye ek hi baat keh sakti hu - Ya to bhaag lo ya phir bhaag lo.
