Wouldn't know. kkb is the only ekta show I never really watched, and only became regular viewer for this new gen leap so got no clue. Mitali actress was in kasam se too, but her character was positive and a complete bechari in it.

Yeah it was very sad because vrinda and yug (tujh sang preet lagayi sajna) from very start were depicted like modern ram and sita of sorts with so many hints that they would end up together.

Instead their love story ended up worse that anurag and prerna, given anurag and prerna were at least married at one point, had children together and died together to show their union as lovers through death, but yug and vrina neither married, neither had children together... nothing.

Instead we were stuck with vrinda ending up with a loser who was a rip-off of srk's role in rab ne bana di jodi. At least mr bajaj was suave, charming, intelligent and supported prerna. The loser husband vrinda got never trusted her, always blamed her, threw her her out of his life and then only got to know how good and true she was when finally fans were getting happy thinking vrinda and yug would marry, yet the loser turned up at their marriage day and vrinda accepted him back and yug being his usual selfless self let her back out of the marriage. Yug always trusted vrinda and respected her too unlike vrinda's loser husband. 🤢 Ekta did the fans dirty there though as that guy did not deserve vrina, unlike mr bajaj who did earn prerna's love.

And did you watch all this torture? Its really despicablcle if they really present them as Ram sita while not reuniting them🤢.

I watched in bits and pieces so I have an overall knowledge but I became regular legit starting this Jan only. That's when I learnt about new gen leap and I remember watching that car scene after bank robbery where Rhea gets flashes of what all ranbir has done for prachi and my first reaction was ughh seeing Rhea and ranbir,I somehow didn't like their acting the first time I saw and I thought Ranbir looked like a vampire but somehow I watched some more episodes and damn I fell in love with Ranbir and now I think he is the best ever and is so damn good looking and Krishna is an amazing actor and he has grown so much as an actor from his first scene till now. And ranbir's character arc and his attitude and everything matured over time. And with respect to prachi,she seemed like a cliche middle class girl but as I watched I realized she isn't. I did find her adoration for abhi the very first time itself super weird. But her character is nice too and mugdha is totally killing it. And Rhea, as evil as she is I still love Naina Singh's portrayal of Rhea. And I can understand the layers of Rhea's character better now. There's so much to her character than just plain evilness and I hope they explore that.

Also loved the Kohli family, Vikram and pallavi and beeji,their dynamics are wonderful and fun and love aryan,shahna and Sarita Ben's characters as well. Overall I became a fan and fell in love with pranbir that I care so much about their relationship lol. It's such a nice escape from reality for a while per day. Love each and every potrayal of new gen and character sketch and I hope the CVs don't butcher it and I am glad they gave us this.

Yes, somehow I honestly like Ranbir more than Prachi. It might also because CVs have given more shades to Ranbir's character than Prachi and sometimes Prachi truly seems emotionless😆. It feels somehow I am watching different show than Previous kkb😆 although I enjoyed the previous one too before drag feast😆

But sometimes she is manipulative and her way of insulting really makes me hate her especially the diwali party where she was insulting Prachi.
