I miss this Mishti and this bond between AM where he uplifted her in her lowest moments and she would instinctively reciprocate.

And I really really miss her chashme.....sigh.

I just caught up on this segment.....not sure if the editors will chop off the brief AM moment of Abir consoling her but it looks nice otherwise.....I still don't know how people are able to justify the slap after seeing Mishti ki haalat.....my heart goes out to her here

No offence, Charu but you should seriously try to learn more about the story before dismissing Mishti as a "meddlesome FL" and justifying the slap.

If you haven't watched the show closely enough, then either you don't know or maybe you don't care about the things that Kuhu has said and done to Mishti without an ounce of remorse or humanity:

1) She called Mishti a charity case - a puppy, and told her that no one wants her in this family

2) She called her a criminal like her father

3) She tried to harm Mishti on Janmashtami by making her fall (she has never admitted this to Mishti or apologized to her for it)

4) She called her an Ugly Duckling just last week

5) She constantly berates Mishti and tells her to disappear and leave this family. She doesn't mean it lightly - she is serious and hateful about it.

These are just some of the things I've summarized here. If after all this also, you feel that Mishti's "meddlesome nature" alone justifies whatever "layered" Kuhu is doing to her, then I guess I don't have anything else to say.

Oh yes I would wanna watch , certainly not get too involved with the forum bec it will ruin my watching experience ..

I really like u ..I dunno u remember or not but from mb days..just to clarify, I did not "dismiss mishti as one dimensional bec she meddles ." . This was one of mishti s mistakes . Obviously there is more to her which I didnt mention bec I didnt feel the need..I already said I like all the 4 for diff reasons. N I dunno why this harsh judgement on me and defense . I dunno what all has been discussed or argued upon in the serial. There is no need to tell me what all kuhu did and and mishti didnt and vice versa. I have a fair idea of the story n I have seen quite a lot of it..I was trying to understand why kuhu would blame mishti for her failed marriage that is it...I also fail to understand how praising a character equates to putting down the other .

If you don't want to be here, that is totally your choice😊. I simply replied to your post because you made a point of coming here and comparing Kuhu and Mishti. Yes, I remember you from the MB forum and I think you once replied to my post in this forum too.

If you feel I judged you harshly, I can only clarify that I was replying to your comments on Mishti, not passing any personal judgement on you. If you put a thought out into the world, you can't expect that people will not respond to it.

Hhmm it's my choice yes. I purposely didnt reply to u bec of late I have been reading your posts on kuhu n I dont feel so strongly about her nor do I feel that way for mishti hence I skimmed through the pages to find a post which somewhat echoed my thoughts ..but u replied , no problem 😆 I agree wth what u said about kuhu and mishti too..u can say I am a neutral viewer .....

As for the slap no, I never said mishti deserved it , I said she should've minded her own business . She cant play victim for something she purposely did ...I am sure she wont feel as bad as her fandom ..yes it's her wedding , she shouldn't be slapped like this ..but she was the one who took away the papers n something happened which went out of control ..so she is accountable for her actions....is Kuhu justified in slapping mishti , no , but I understand her reasons..there need not be a definite right or wrong in every situation

My reason for not coming to the forum is not this post , nothing to do with u..chill ..I agree with u and I agree with all for and against viewes..interesting to read....that's the reason I like kuhu and kunal too..the opposite views , opp personalities n interesting to dissect

I have a feeling since she is being touted as the parallel lead, that there will be a story where she realises the love/rishta/ the bonds and etc but you know what? I don't consider her more than just a prop to propel Mishbir's story but one badly used by the writers. I stopped believing in her the moment she thought it was ok to 'kill mishti' - at the dahi handi scene. No matter how many times we saw tears, silent mouthing of sorry it does not wash with me. She does not believe in love, you see. She never trusts people around her to love her for herself so she grabs all the attension...I wrote one another post what I feel she may do after Mishtis married...killing is nothing now to her.

Surprised that the writers have taken this route. Kuhu, out of all 4, actually has the worse background and the most broken inside but no on realises it yet as the focus is one Mishti. But whatever, that character is beyond repair now. Even with fictional characters you do not cross a line and then expect happily ever after for them = not without serious redemption and I have not seen any of that at all.

Fab post👏....You've explained Kuhu really well here.

I especially liked the point you made about how she NEVER nurtured anything with Mishti....it doesn't take much for a spark or crumb of affection to grow and Mishti made many genuine overtures to Kuhu from time to time, that were always burnt down by Kuhu or she got busy in her own self-absorbed fantasies or petty need for attention.

You also made an interesting point about how Kuhu doesn't really believe in or understand love. Sure, she talks a lot about childish fantasies of "love" and fairytales, but she has no real clue about it. For all her bravado, she is cowardly and doesn't trust anyone around her to love her for herself....so she works only with shallow things....obsession with appearances and trying to gain attention only through superficial things.

She's actually a character to be pitied in many ways....and I would pity her many times until she starts abusing and demeaning Mishti. That's when she crosses the line. And I agree with you, that even in fiction, one can't expect sympathy for characters after certain lines are crossed. I am open to redemption but in 200+ episodes, there is no sign of any from Kuhu....the writers only keep doubling down on her abusive behavior and try to justify it. That further alienates any possible audience sympathy for redemption.

Yes, the writers will likely try to "redeem" her at some point by magically making her understand love and rishte.....just like they did with Kunal.....lol....these are just token redemptions and lack any conviction, so they won't wash much with me either.

What a sick joke! Sick to another level!

And congratulations! KuKu are officially the leads! Knew RS shows were famous for multiple weddings of the leads... MishBir fans were just confused about their pair because makers were using them as the face of the show! Why give them a wedding that their fans can cherish?

Parallel mode toh became obvious since the last few weeks only where they've started showing all Mishbir and KuKu scenes in parallel to "equalize" the love stories....lol so I'm not even surprised if they try to go for a double wedding......Abir ka pyaar for his Nanko will want this only....saath mein karo shaadi😆
