I think Neil is angry for two reasons here .

1) Obviously 🤣 she called him friend and he was not able to digest it.

2) I think he wanted to help in Arya's case but Mini mostly says that she will manage it all alone .It's their fight . Sisters fight and this made him outsider.

Now seeing Neil sad ,hurt Mini is also feeling bad and she might ask sorry and clear things.

Though Mini is not wrong. She is in character. She don't want to be dependent on Neil for everything .It scares her .She is self made lady and falling and being in love scares her as said by Preeth during their discussion. Neil for sure in future will change her thinking and it's already started and that's why she is controlling.
