it is only been a week since Maya entered roy house. Cv's want to establish MJ now because he has been sidelined for 50 episodes. so they will mostly focus on his character now. they have slowed down the story just to show MJ and Maya dynamics, then they will move forward with rest of the characters.

as for Rudra, holding a grudge for 10 years is exhausting. I think he decided to let things go after rishi's death because the family has been through enough. Even during the wedding nonsense, he was very passive and just going with the flow.

Of course. But those events could’ve been dealt in a better way. Like maybe a couple of conversations as he might’ve come around eventually because at the end of the day, MJ is his father.

Rishi’s death had in fact driven him further away but then the makers kinda zoomed past everything and we got a chummy father-son!

MJ is his father after all so almost losing him after rishi scared him, so I get the sudden affection. but now, he seems to maintain a very cordial relationship with him yet distant relationship with him.

It's not about Rudras past grudge. It's about MJs threatening behavior against the woman Rudra loves more than his life, as he claims. I know it's important to establish the MJ dynamic but a few obvious questions to Maya, checking on her would be more coherent and logical. He looks more like a hormone overloaded teen right now. Albeit I love every version of him coz he is my fave character.

I think because we kinda like him so much, we expect a lot (by tv standards) from him...
