Yes that's relevant too. Also he feels guilty for not being a good son or brother. So maybe cutting them some slack. But it's high time to sit and talk with his wife and gague the source of her discomfort.

Maybe. I guess the essential tracks are too rushed and that’s why you start questioning the basic character traits? Like what happened to his hatred? Why is he not questioning the fact that MJ has been spotted alone with Maya when he wasn’t in the room. Like cmon. Any “father in law” would realize that his son isn’t there and leave. But yahan.....
