I think he doesnt take it seriously.. he might be thinking because it's a new place and new life all of a sudden and his father was holding her neck too... he doesnt expect her to adjust so fast so he is been nice and sweet to her..

But this whole mess that MJ did on Thursday.. Rudra shouldn't let go softly to Maya I feel.. no matter how scared she might be but he has to get tough and Rudra knows Maya is not weak to succumb so easily. He has seen her lioness side...
