Alia- More Filmfare’s Than: Waheeda Rahman, Rekha, Sridevi, Rani etc - Page 2

Vidya deserved it this year more than Aloo but still Aloo i would say close call...Aloo lifted a boring film like Gully Boy with her fiery act.

Even tho Alia Bhatt had a small role in Gully Boy , she left a huge impact. I am happy she got recognized for her brilliant performance. But I also loved Rani M. In Mardaani, Vidya Balan in MM and Kangana was absolutely brilliant in Manikarnika and JKH. Any of these ladies wining is well deserved.

SRK has 9 , Amitabh has 5 . Doesn’t make him better than the later

if vidya or rani would have won, we would be bitching that kangana deserved more. if shahid won, there was ranveer and ayushmann.....

hell at least the winners here were TOP.

even hollywood bitching that no black wins, and all the shit.

but none of us can deny that Joaquin and rene were TOP. but at the same time yes there were adam driver and scarlet j , and hell i soooooo loved lenardo d in OUATIH

but joaquin and rene deserved too.and glad they won.

Rani in mardani was strictly average .

Vidya also did not standout as such in mission Mangal.

If one thinks objectively , there were no stand out performance by a leading actress this year .

Alia bhatt had good PR going for her and this helped her win.

If kriti Sanon was nominated for LC then think about the acting done by actresses this year .

Maybe Tashkent files actress could have been nominated but small film and hence ignored by PR and star driven award shows.

Remember alia bhatt ka highway performance was called as Meryl street one by shabana and javed akhtar .

So she is smart at hyping up her below average or average performances.
