We should not assume who was wrong just by hearing an audio recording. Shukla is an abusive person, no doubt about it but relationships are complicated. Sometime the other person is so manipulative and cunning that the innocent one ends up getting enraged and frustrated.

Judge Shukla as much as you want on his behavior in the show. But what happens between two people in a relation is only known to them.
