I don't believe it's possible to prove abiogenesis. However, some peoplei met have claimed that they are close to proving abiogenesis in labs. However, what I would assert is that if man could somehow create a living organism from non-living matter in a lab then he has demonstrated intelligent design, not abiogenesis, since it would've required an input of intelligence to create the living organism.😊

Abiogenesis was some supposed act of randomness in nature in which a single-celled organism was generated from non-living matter. My challenge to those who believe in abiogenesis in this thread is to prove abiogenesis could possibly occur as a random act in nature without intelligent input, since one could just argue that it proves intelligent design if someone claims it were some lab experiment with intelligent input. 😛

Showing that abiogenesis can occur in a laboratory firstly demonstrates that it's possible. This is, and always has been, the sticking point in the abiogenesis debate. 😛

After that, it all comes down to probability. Given the immense size and age of the Universe, I would be very, very surprised if it wasn't a very highly probable event. Once we know the chemicals involved, we'll be in a position, for the first time, to actually calculate it with some degree of certainty.😛

Life was not caused by Intelligent Design. If it was, then I really need to have words with the Designers, because the sucky design they've come up with has all the elegance and forethought of a 6 year old with an orange crayon. 😃
