To be fair, I’m still not sure whether Zoe is the worst character written or if she is actually played by the worst actor possible, given that Love Aaj Kal’s insipidness is single handedly worsened by Sara Ali Khan’s grating overacting. The actress has the subtlety of Ranveer Singh’s wardrobe and the emotional depth of an Ekta Kapoor vamp. Aaryan, on his part, fares slightly better (a flashback dance sequence is probably the only rewarding part of the film) although, that has a lot to do with the fact that the actress goes out of her way to be intolerable. It’s no surprise then, that the two leads share zero chemistry with each other, given that Veer looks more scared of Zoe than in love with her.

Makes me rethink about her Kedarnath performance...was it Gattu who wielded it out of her and after she became popular she took things easily and din't put any effort ...

Did Sara had a fallout with Gattu? I think I read it somewhere that they had fallen out.

I noticed Saru is following SRK's directors Rohit Shetty, Imtiaz, ALR 😆 there were rumours she was approached for Raees director's next. Maneesh has not directed a movie since Fan. David Dhawan is the exception for Sara. 😆

When she debuted I said she gives me Sonakshi vibes... Her choices are also similar to Sonakshi except Sona had a Lootera.

On a more practical note, PC would never get acceptance by the west of the level American born actress would get... She might work in A-level films but even then she will be hated just because she comes from INDIA.

They have to lack self respect to act that way when firangs talk the absolute worst about India and Indians. They even talk about getting rid of India as a country as a whole because they really have that much of a superiority complex.
