That will prevent the show from being too heavy and depressing. Coz in real time they will have moved on from that phase of pain and learnt to deal with it somehow.
They can keep going into flashbacks like:
Sona at the launch of her new show or film, thinking back to when she was fired from KPK and struggling financially would be easier to watch than seeing her go through it in real time.
