Yeah it was an honest mistake that he made thinking they had succeeded.

Actually this track would have been a lot more interesting if pranbir had joined Rhea also in their plans. In that case Rhea would definitely be at crossroads because she knows she has to prove Maya culprit but should also save herself. And even if the credit goes to both prachi and Rhea, atleast prachi's name would have been easily cleared. Like Rhea cannot backtrack in such scenario

Nah I wouldn't put it past rhea to still do something to fail the plan because exposing maya in any way would mean risking maya opening her mouth when exposed so even then she wouldn't want any plan of maya being exposed to be successful.
