Who's the Bollywood equivalent of Saoirse Ronan?

Just saw little Women and there's this fantastic actress called Saoirse Ronan in it, who's just a delight to watch onscreen. She's just 25 and she's a powerhouse of talent! Some of her other movies have also been critically acclaimed like Ladybird ( a heartfelt coming-of-age story that perfectly captures the bittersweet transition from adolescence to dawning adulthood) and Atonement(where she was the younger sister to Keira Knightley). I just loved her acting and screen presence.

Who do you think can be her Bollywood equivalent? I thought of Kangy as the closest counterpart, but Saoirse's range and versatility is something else. I wish we had talent like that in BW! Unfortunately, none of the 25-year-olds in BW can come close to beating this young talent. She's something else.

You've picked the worst products of nepotism, that day will never come. Sara in Love Aaj Kal 2 promos and Jhanvi in Dhadak are textbook examples of bad acting.

I also blame the audience for lapping up the likes of Alia and hailing her as superstar, and rejecting Kangana who despite everything, is a fantastic performer. I know that's elitist of me to say so, I don't think audiences are fools, but aren't they buying into KJO's propaganda?

She is a lovely performer. I would confidently say no one.

When you expose yourself to other performances and different kinds of cinema, you realize how even those who are considered the "best" in BW are really medicore.

BW has a long long way to go before they are ready to invest in real talent.

Thats all a part of marketing a brand value.

The audience just believes what they see and like what's being portrayed as successful on tv and in the media.

they then go watch their films. causing even the untalented to be successful. plus the pluretha of opportunities these star kids get

thats unfortunately the sad culuture of BW which the audience is so used to that they even fail to appreciate talent. not realizing that they are freeken brain washed.

the Bollywood audience accept mediocrity as the norm and the industry doesn't care about creativity so it'd be next to impossible for any real talent to be nurtured..

it will keep producing below average products and mediocre actors will keep getting hailed as great..

This.

And the puke inducing superiority complex of those mediocre actors fans and bandwagoners.
