Humesha was released in late 1997

That video clip was of 1996 when Sara was one year old that made her a 1995 born

If she would have been 1993 born, that shooting clip would have been from 1994 , which is not true as Humesha was not in making for 3-4 years

Its on the record that Humesha was made in 1.5 years time

So Sara is not lying

Someone plz have some scan of sep 1995 issues of stardust, movie, cineblitz etc which must have news of Sara's birth on 15th Aug 1995

Sara's birth year is correct.

If she is born in 1995 then that means she must've enrolled for Bachelors in 2013. In America, Bachelors are 4 years long generally. So she would've typically been Class of 2017 graduate. But she graduated a year early (2016) to lose weight and groom herself.

This article also proves that her age is right...she completed 12th in 2013 and India mein we don't take break, start Bachelors immediately. They even announce her Bachelor course name here...she must've got in before 12th graduation.

2013 mein schooling khatam karke she enrolled at Uni...so her birth age is accurate.

PS: I checked why she is called SARA SULTAN in the video...she's apparently been called that in many articles before her debut...but no idea why...if anyone can throw some light on it?!

I think I figured it out.

Amrita's mother (Sara's nani) was Ruksaana Sultan...and she was a single mother.

Maybe Amrita is also Amrita Sultan on her documents but Amrita Singh professionally.

And maybe that's why Sara is called Sara Sultan in the video (she took on the same surname)...but for her stage name she chose Sara Ali Khan.

EDIT 2:

Apparently all Pataudi ladies have Sultan as their surname...Sharmila is Ayesha Sultan, Tiger Pataudi's mom was Sajida Sultan...well all except Kareena who hasn't changed her name.

I don't know what's her real age but there were talks about how she modified her year of birth on wiki before Sonam called her out I guess. I don't remember exactly but Sonam said that she, DP and shraddha are of same age group. I guess she also added Sonakshi in the list too. I don't remember the exact details though.

You are 17+ when you finish high school. So Sara was born before '94.

Do saal sabhi ghatate hai. No big deal. All the male stars have also done that.
