So it's already confirmed that Alia will win and Shahid won't?
what nonsense
actors should be awarded on how well they portayed a role..regardless of what an ass the role be..
Why these dumbasses don't get it, that acting awards are given on the basis of how the person acted, and not something else.
Lekin woke, foke, choke, lavda lasun, ne sab kuch ka lodumaal kar diya hai.
I think the most important question should be why is Alia even nominated for the film? She was a supporting character and she did well but there’s no way it was an award worthy performance
Is there really no other female actor that acted in a full fledged movie in 2019? Bas yehi dekhna baaki tha

People have won Oscars for Leading Roles and sometimes arent even in the movie more than 20 minutes. Who did well in 2019 among the women ?? Bhoomi/Tapsee were never going to win this unless it was a real low year 😆 Kangana is the same and also PR nightmare. They nominated Rani, PC, Bebo & Vidya as well and they could win but like Alia they have all won it before. I personally think Katrina in Bharat was a great role by a woman in 2019 and she wasnt even nominated 😒

What is gross is that some of the people who called out the problems with Kabir Singh's character and made a hue and cry about the film, were also the ones to hail Safeena's character as something revolutionary or feminist.
Both characters were abusive. Period.
People who react diffrently to these two characters are just hypocrites.
Safeena isn't hailed as revolutionary because she hit a girl on her head just because she was jealous 🤦
She is revolutionary because she had dreams, she wanted to become a doctor and she was studying for it. Doing something to come out of the poverty trap. How many girls/women, who belong to economically weaker section of the society do you see on your screen who are not dreaming only about their marriage or are not shown as domestic workers?
But she had anger management issues. And her bf broke up with her because her behaviour was objectionable. Violence wasn't normalized.
How hard is it to understand this?

Poverty trap? Her doctor dad had bought her an iPad and didn''t even scold her or make it an issue when she said she had lost it. Kya yeh revolutionary character dekhne wale koi alag hi film dekhe?
But who called Safeena's character great for the violence. 🤔Originally posted by: FilmiDhun

Well she was shown as someone living in the slum. And iPad to second hand bhi aa jati hai. Mereko to koi bhi larki parai and job Karne wali revolutionary hi Lagti hai. Anyways, my point is she was never praised for her violence. Stop justifying the violence in ks by changing the narrative on GB.
