Paras thought he knew the game. He thought it should be played like chess moving his pawns around but he did not take into consideration into the fact the connectivity with audience is the deciding factor.Paras failed to connect with audience emotions and got left behind.

If the audience connects with the emotions of the contestant they will sail with him and take him forward. A large section of audience connected with Asim perceived hims as some one who came across as his real self and they took him forward. He learnt how to play the game along the way.

Paras by adopting his bully boy attitude lost the first round with Asim then by trying to take Asim's place in Shukla's team he lost another round. Now he has no plan. He will stay in the game as long as Shukla is kind towards him.

That was the day I openly became an Asim fan because the kind of shit Paras spoke-it hurt my middle class ego. How dare he?

I was a Paras fan until that point, hate him now.

It started from the first week itself when he targetted him with the help of Sid Dey. Back then Asim was calm and shy because he was new to the show.
