Hey, I am looking to write a romantic comedy. I have two possible plots:
Name: Dirty Dancing
1. A young woman and her family come to visit the lodge they own. The woman who has grown up quite sheltered and innocent due to her parents overprotectiveness has dreamt of being as free as the dancers she grew up watching. When she meets the badboy, dance instructor who gives a whole new meaning to sexy and sophisticated she finds herself in a completely different world. Can she find the path her heart wants her to take before her parents make a decision that will change her life forever?
Loosely based on Dirty Dancing/ inspired by Dirty Dancing.
Name: Rebel In The Rain
2. When young, the female main character was always teased by a boy a few years older, living in a small town means she consistently has to see his family and it really doesn't help that her family and his are the best of friends. But at the very least, for the past few years he has been away at war, that is, until he returns, adamant on convincing her and their families that she is perfect for him.
But I am unsure as to which couple I should write on, so please pick which plot you prefer and which couple you feel would look best:)
