I admire PC for making it on her own, but there IS something like being true to thine own self.

If Gaga did it, if Ranveer did it, no one would bat an eyelash. It's their personality, they seem to enjoy it, more power to them.

PC has never shown herself to enjoy such stuff. This dress seems designed (pun intended) to draw attention.

Leave all racism, sexism aside, she comes across as too desperate to be seen.

I have seen Miley in that and she was at her worst during those days.

Selena is actually looking pretty good and carried that dress well.

Last one, don't know who she is, and don't understand whatever she is wearing.

I live in the West. Hardly any average young girl dresses like this unless they're starved for attention. Celebs are a diff matter across the globe.

The thing is, she doesn't even look sexy. The outfit, despite baring flesh, is boring. As is her hair and her makeup. Just a bland look all round and that's the problem. As someone said upthread she probably thought she'd have her own "J-Lo" moment but it didn't work. J-Lo had colour and a flirty, airy material which actually upped the sex appeal of her dress. Priyanka looks weighed down and laboured in hers, plus it's white/beige/cream! Dull. The dress in hot red or sparkling blue would have been a different story. Pity.

Being true to yourself? Never shown herself to enjoy such stuff? Lol what? Priyanka’s never had an issue with wearing deep neck outfits. She’s done it numerous times before, this one is 2 inches more and people freak out. Priyanka posted numerous pictures and IG stories and seemed to enjoy herself. How do you know what her true self is or that she’s not being true to herself? You don’t have to like the outfit or style but it’s so unnecessary to get judgmental. Desperate to be seen by who? The only people still ranting are Indians that already know her and are taking a stand for Indian culture. These same people had a problem with her wearing a knee length dress, they’re obsessed with what Priyanka wears or doesn’t wear.

Just b/c the dress sucks doesn't mean we're jealous, body shamming or discounting her accomplishments. Red carpets are about looks and some are amazing and some are massive fails. The critique on her look has been universally negative among major fashion critics. Like I said, this dress on a cover or just standing would be perfect but when she sits down, it looks awful.

Immortan Joe had a bunch of women producing milk......I had a flashback of that scene...yes she looks like that
