Asad was an essentially an escapist. The reason he ran away from love was for he feared heartbreak like his mother. His denial for Zoya was also the same. Even if Dilshaad had explained and made him understand he wouldn't have had understood. He escaped the situation went to Delhi for work for the same .reason as he knew his mom would "convince" him and leave anyway. But he wanted to hold on to his grudge and hate which is why he left so that he gets another reason to hate his father which he did eventually. Having said all that, yes Dilshaad should have had explained him properly rather than throwing fits.I understand why she left him to stay with her husband. But she would have convinced Asad in a much better way. Everything was a rush for him, no wonder he wanted to leave everything and move to the US. He would have accepted her decision eventually which he did anyway.
