Who didn't deserve Padmashri ?

I think they have been nominated on the basis of merit so yeah they both are deserving. I don't understand the point of this post.

As per my understanding both were unsuccessful lately in their respective projects specially Kangana.

Don't know what's their criteria or "merit" though.

If its just good acting, then there are many other actresses who are more skilled actresses then Kangana (and successful as well, unlike her since last 5 years) e.g. vidya balan, Richa, kalki, radhika etc

Specially Vidya, with better acting chops than kangana and also continuous successes as well.

She deserved it more then this twitter trouble maker.

I don't think they consider the timeline of successes. Also, I find both of them deserving for their contribution to cinema. Also, it's not about personal preference. I don't like either of them but I can't take away anything from them just because of my personal dislike for them.

As far as others are concerned, they might get it when the time comes.

Somewhere down the line Kangana did deserve the Padmashri. Her bootlicking just made the process faster.

And Vidya Balan has already won a Padmashri in 2014.

Aamir won the Padma Bhusan over 10 years ago. That was way too early for that

Richa, Kalki, Radhika r in no way more successful than Kangana..more skilled maybe yes. But that is subjective.

Vidya received a Padma Shri way back in 2014..so did Priyanka, Aishwarya, Sridevi, Kajol,Madhuri..

I think this year Manikarnika worked it for Kangana

Ohh I wasn't knowing Vidya & Priyanka already won Padmashree and so did Aishwarya. Then I would say Kangana as a talented actress does deserve it.

Kangana has won 3 national awards. Those voting NO are dumb
