I don't think this is a ploy. Veena is manipulating all this to throw Sona out of Rohit's life and out of Sippys because she thinks because of Suman and Sona everything is happening. She believes Sona is responsible for breaking Sippy family apart. She is also insecure of Sona's value in Rohit's life, but mostly she's blaming Sona for Naren's condition so she will do all this manipulation with Nishi. I hate to say it but Rohit will believe Veena over Sona that is why we were shown all that "my mom is the most imp for me" dialogue from Rohit.

Rohit will save Sona from falling off of the cliff and then will take off that bracelet and walk off. Sona will cry going after Rohit, but he won't listen. Then, hopefully Suman will support Sona as she has no one and nothing left now.

We take a leap (hopefully its just couple months 6 max) and then the story will start from there for Ronakshi to find their way back to each other. During this time Naren might wake up and spill all the truth. Thats where this is heading. Now I am sure.

Exactly this is what going to happen in upcoming episode. I feel that will be good for our show also,because of thinking of what is happening in current episodes.Leap and fresh start is only possibility to save our show now.
