After receiving the beautiful Christmas gifts from Arnav kushi decided to go to thank Arnav for the same. Kushi approached Arnav when he was standing in the lobby deep in thought .On seeing him kushi forgot her well - rehearsed speech she was going to tell him and ended up blabbering what all she could remember which in turn amused Arnav as he could not catch what she was telling him. From what he could decipher of what she said he realized she came to thank him as well as apologize to him thinking because of her comments he had to spend a lot of time to buy gifts for kushi Arnav lied to her assured her he was under no guilt .Where as in reality he was happy seeing her reaction on receiving the gifts.

We can see the equation between Arnav and kushi changing kushi seems to be occupying his thoughts lately especially when she told him how she was friendly with all the staff hence the he questioned her why did she resign kushi.

Kushi’s answer to that was equally confusing as to now why is he questioning her when earlier he did not ask the reason for quitting this job. Waiting to see how Arnav replies to her question

Oh god, i love this story. I really, really, genuinely with all my heart love this story!!!! The amount of feelings I feel reading this story.. oooof!!!!

Can I just say how immensely proud of Khushi I am? Just immensely proud of her!!! Such a smart, beautiful, courageous , young woman !!! ARGH my heart. I love that she questioned Arnav.. the part where you wrote her rephrasing her words out of fear she was taking too many liberties.. again my heart :( .. the fact that she spoke so openly and in such a pure way.. the way Arnav just understands and looks @ her in such a soft way (i FEEL like a puddle of FEELS???) LOL.. and her “safer than hoem” comment. The way she lets it out by accident.. her reaction to the comment. Her worry.. the fear.. her plead. Argh.. i have never related to Arnav’s anger more tbh. He was a total personification of my mood LOL.. i just.. in my head right, it’s not like I want Arnav to come and be this big saviour who comes out and protects Khushi 24/7/no one touches her.. but I find him so endearing and beautiful because of how genuine he is with her. The way he notices her behaviour, the way she talks.. it’s in the way he’s drawn to her that makes me root for him, that makes me love him more. Even when he sensed her discomfort.. he changed the atmosphere and left with her bristling, her smiling.. her being “her real self” - my god, I ship these 2 so much it makes me sad LOL!!!!

Arnav’s offer was quite interesting (quick note/pointer to say i just absolutely love his character.. as well as Khushi’s. These 2 are my complete and utter babies and I NEED THEM TO BE PROTECTED @ all costs..) !! :) pls.. also yes, back to the point LOL.. i wonder what Khushi will pick. I mean she has a choice her.. I want her to do her own thing and find herself but being a pragmatist, she needs a job. Actually who am I kidding? I lowkey did the same thing Khushi did. I left a job that was my main source of income and my god.. it was the best 2 months of my life.. well not best LOL but the spiritual, mental happiness that i had, argh it sas so great. It’s another thing i had to eventually go back LOL (it’s okay!!! I had great friends there but i just needed a break).. my point is I want Khushi to be happy and do what she needs to do which makes me wonder what Arnav is going to offer her? I was thinking maybe part time work or something but i don’t know - eager to find out! I’d love to read about them in the office!!! But more eager to see what Khushi does!!? - also that pizza scene. So cute.. and wait wait is Arnav legit allergic to cheese?? :( cheese is the best thing in the world. Super fattening snd dairy but you can eat cheese on anything and it’ll be gr8!!! Okay cheese tangent here.. thinking of cheese LOL

Anyway this is the cutest FIC ever!!! Cannot wait to read more!!! ❤️

CHAPTER-13..

I definitely reread the update to enjoy every single word,uttered by Arshi.. Thier gesture were as real as if it was happening before my eyes..

Wow Sabi,

Arnav has always been noticing her QAREEB SE..

Her demeanor ,her anxiety,wry smile which never reaches her eyes ..

He also have glimpse of her craziness.. like trying to twirl the pen or balancing the file on her head..

He has seen her natural side buried behind disinterested aura..

His protectiveness towards her makes him so endearing..

I really want him to beat Shyam into pulp n I want u to oblige Gauri,Raji n all other readers ..n me,too..by making him do so in the nearest future :P

Khushi too has been noticing him..

It's not that she only mimicks his style of walking n talking only..

She has noticed his eating habits too..

She has even tried to offer him a slice of pizza as he has been working for hours without eating anything at all ..

I find it very cute when she complains about his lack of interest or cocern when she presents her resignation..

Now,she's perplexed as to how n why has he offered her more time to reconsider her decision..

How beautifully you have written this chapter. The highlight of the chapter was simple casual talk between Arnav and Kushi which started with an apology by kushi ended on a high note

Kushi’s forthright accusation to Arnav of how could he ask her the cause of her resignation caught Arnav unaware then kushi realized her folly changed her tone. After initial awkwardness and hesitation there was a free flow of conversation between them. During their conversation they both realized that they had been silently observing each other’s behaviour. So also kushi was under the impression her life was a secret but later realized she was or rather is an open book for Arnav as he had been observing her. Arnav’s request to kushi to reconsider her decision to resign from the job has left kushi baffled

Arnav is slowly and steadily falling for kushi he has not yet realized it. waiting to see how their relation develops further.

Wooow ...it was a nice conversation....

A worried angry Arnav... Their banter... And ofcourse reconsidering job was cherry on top....

Loved it...

arnav now has an idea of what Khushi has been facing. Both know so much about the other and at the same time so little. This conversation revealed so much. A little more of the untold surfaced.

How can u not use words like superb or awesome or wonderful for ur updates?? They are simply superb..

None of them have forgotten even a single conversation passed between them along the past years.. Both care for n notice things about each other far more than they themselves imagine.. So very love to know about their untold stories..

such a deep emotional chapter...........finally they had a conversation, I so wanted them to have.......... as I had guessed earlier, seems like they did share a bond unknowingly........ Eager to see where they go from here...... Khushi had a dream of her own business, will Arnav give her an exciting offer she cannot refuse ? I hope so..........

I can't even imagine what she must've gone through at Shyam's hand, when she find the lonely roads in the dead of the night, more safer.......... sure the scars must be deep....... wonder how Arnav will help her heal......... so his Granny doesn't dislike her for being a divorcee......
