Firstly Salman shouldn't have brought it up at all. The official messenger "Parag" never told Asim about break up, Himanshi never told that it was Asim's fault or that he was the reason. HK never told she loves him till now, did she?
She's a grown up and thinking that she's someone's property just bcoz she had her marriage fixed and can't have her own friends & opinions, is sad mentality. Salman himself doesn't know what construes respect of a woman. He saying that, she was someone's amanat & Asim shouldn't have expressed his love, is extremely disrespectful for HK & stems from patriarchy that treats women as someone's property. She is an individual & it's her choice what she will do with her life, love & marriage. She handled Asim's expression of love in a very dignified way.
Anyway, if that guy chow was so stupid to breakup for this reason, she is extremely lucky and should thank Asim for getting rid of that guy.
HK could have been more forthcoming in Asim's defense as many expect; but that would have only fueled more discussion, speculation etc. They can sort their relationship in private after the show. So I think she's smart to not to add fuel to it. Let their story be frozen here and let Asim focus on the show. If HK had intentions of using Asim. She wouldn't have missed the opportunity to tie him up with her break up strongly by making this incident responsible for break up. I think she's handling it very nicely and in favour of Asim.

Hmm it’s an interesting take but I still don’t trust HK or her intentions. My big concern is Asim’s perception as a home wrecker! And that people will use this tag in the house against Asim and Asim is easily triggered anytime HK is brought up! So it makes me worry for him, but yeah hoping he focusses on his game than HK for now

Possible na, they live a routine life, no alchohol or sex, timely food and exercise. No anxieties of this world, no Mobile & social media tensions; Over all it's a very healthy life in the house. Every contestant is supposed to get better in the house, if they do a little bit excercise like Asim does regularly 😊

That home wrecker tag is too far fetched. That won't stick. HK is intelligent & if you think logically, she doesn't have a better response to stop all discussion about it. Whatever she says will generate more controversies only.
If she clears Asim and her BF comes out against it, that will be very bad for her and Asim both. If she accepts that it was Asim, then another problem will start.
So I think she took the right path.
