I found a couple recipes that I could make without a pressure cooker so Imma try them either tomorrow or Monday. But yeahh, I need to start figuring out my lunches as well since I suffer the most at school because of my growling stomach. 😬

Honestly all I needed was a damn blender and I would have been fine. 🤣

Blender problem🤣mil jayega don't worry kahin na kahin to

Yes I know it takes a lot of time to adjust, pehle pehle toh I used to do so much cooking, even chapatis and all, dheere dheere sab shortcuts pe aa gaya🤣

I think thats what Arya sees in Neil, a father figure.... but Neil can never replace HS. Even though HS was only there for 5 years in Arya's life, he had been the best father.

And ewww on Mini getting married. Mini-Neil so called romance/love is already cringy, imagine them getting married and doing romantic scene 🤢. Cvs have gone mad if they head for Mini-Neil marriage, and I mean if they ever even show that.

Right now Arya is at a stage where she needs stability the most. She already has Minnie filling in the role as her mom, so she's probably thinking that Neil can fill in for her father. Of course, she grows older, she may think otherwise.

Since I'm not watching the show, I have no idea what Neil is like. He may be the best guy out there, I don't know. But from the little that I saw post leap, what I know is that Minnie needs time to cope with the tragedy that befell her. It's the exact same thing that happened with Babita. She needed time to process and figure out who she is post divorce, not jump into another marriage with the first man that she met. Yes, HS was the fricking best guy out there, but he in a way still was the only solid male figure in her life. She never really explored other opportunities. It's the same thing with Minnie. Her parents died, she's having to relocate back to Patiala, is being asked to single handedly raise a five year old girl that she doesn't know that well, is having to let go of the career that she always wanted to pursue her mother's dreams and save the home that gave her a second chance. It's all far too much to take in. If Neil is giving her a lot of support whether it's personal or professional, then that's great! Anyone in Minnie's situation right now would appreciate it. But in that is also the risk of becoming too reliant, and too dependent on the supporter. Minnie needs time to make her own decisions without any guilt, pressure or feeling of helplessness. Especially when it comes to marriage. Again, it's just like Babita. When it came to choosing HS, it was equally important that she chose him for herself as well as Minnie. It'll be the same for Neil. If Minnie chooses him, it'll have to be equally for Arya and Minnie herself.

LMAOOO, I was thinking of making rotis as well but then I thought about kneading the dough and said fck it, I don't have the time nor energy for that. 🤣

Rice would be a good choice but don't wanna be eating that all week. It sucks that we don't have naan either. 🤔

BUT!! THERE'S MAGGI!!! I can't tell you how happy I was to see it in the store yesterday. And it's so cheap too! One packet of Maggi was for fifty cents! 😲

LOLL, I could have cried yesterday while eating it. That's how happy I was to eat something remotely desi. 🤣

Oh I know. I'm gonna get some for in case of emergencies / pick me ups.

Yeahh, there's a lot of tortilla wraps here so I'll pick up a packet soon. There's this cheese here called queso latina which had the same consistency as paneer so Imma try to make some matar paneer tomorrow. Hopefully it works out. 🤞😂

Ooohh, I've had brown rice before! It takes forever to make it. 😬 Maybe huge meals, I can eat in little portions throughout the day so that I don't feel so hungry all the time.

I miss and appreciate Mom so much now. Despite going to work, she still made sure to make dal / sabzi rather than just feeding us bread or lettuce. 😭😭😭

Yeahh, that's what I do for the dal anyways but I don't want to be cooking for hours and hours varna makaan malkin chilayegi. 😬

Lol i don't know what is a typical one overseas 😁 soaking works better if you add some natron also (or the standard european baking powder) 🍛🍛🍛

Asian food stores sometimes do have frozen rotis here, even whole wheat ones, idk in Spain. They are a bit pricey but quite o.k. 😊 But my family is totally into rice. I often make it the Persian way though so it has a nice crust. Also no effort since I've got a rice cooker 😅
