I feel like they’re scared to go all out cos he’s the BB laadla. Or they think that the strength is in retorting back in a similar, sarcastic fashion cos if they go full out to shut him down, they’ll be seen as over-reacting females - therefore they front it out.

To me, neither Rashmi nor Madhu seem comfortable with his instigations.

Devoleena was a different case, and I think she actually started it with Shukla. He played along. He’s probably taken the idea from Devo for doing what he does now.

Whatever the case, the ladies that have responded back in same fashion and played along, seemed to have no such issues from their body language whether they were to be seen as overreacting females or not.

But I do agree, Shukla flirting fests did start after Devo initiated it first, aur ab toh woh rukne ka naam hi nahi le raha hai. 😆

I wouldn’t justify those type of regressive comments at all. If Sidnaaz want to have a no strings attached consensual relationship as well, then thats their own prerogative. What I, and several others, criticize is it being shown soooo much on screen because we didn’t sign up to see a daily soap type roothna-manana-romance show.

And I agree that its a shame that several women make such statements against their own gender. Take Shehnaaz and her comment on women who smoke as an example. 🤢

Since I was one of the people who made that comment, is it fair to assume that was meant for me (among other people)? Nevertheless, will respond to what I meant.

I have also seen several posts saying that Shehnaaz has lost her self respect and I agree with it as well. I feel Shukla treats her very poorly yet she is always running behind him and almost pleading for him to forgive her. He places restrictions on her behavior and she endeavours to follow those boundaries set by him. So I don’t agree that saying she has no self respect is the same as character shaming her.

I have no issue with what they wanna do - they’re free to do as they please, and s**t shaming ka toh sawaal hi nahi uthta - for me. I simply get so sick of 40+ mins of that cringe-fest (and yes - it is that to me) being shoved down my throat - that is not what this show is about and not what I watch it for. And this isn’t limited to these two - mekko kisi ka showmance nahi dekhna, even if they’re likeable as individual contestants, and certainly not for entire eppies.

OT - pot calling the kettle black hojata, from Shukla’s end, were Shehnaaz to start doing what he’s been doing. I haven’t seen her chasing or throwing herself at anyone other than Shukla (whom she has her SidNaaz equation with) - not even Paras. Not saying it’s ok - but if Shukla’s not ok with it, then he can say so. Shukla, on the other hand, is happily harassing other women there - from Madhu, to now Rashmi - he’ll harass anything in a skirt IMO. But that’s his usual - woh kare toh theek, koi aur kare toh vibrations.

On topic- Shukla would have behaved like the MCP that he is and gone into maximum vibration mode. When he treats her this bad for platonically chilling with other folks, she would have become an “aisi ladki” for him if she engaged in some casual, fun flirting. Grade A hyprocrite.
