So relieved to read your post manya_roy. Chalo koi toh h jo beyhadh jaise show ke actual soul ko samajh raha h. The show is all about unleashing a dark side. Offering it's viewers a never like before experience on ITV. Showing the different shades of human. So happy to see some creative liberty on parts of the team beyhadh. Aur jagah toh bas channel hi lead karti h show ke storyline and plots ko.

Beyhadh is a revenge thriller drama and it's a total fictional story made for the amusement of the viewers. Actually beyhadh was not supposed to produce a second part. It was only possible because the viewers wanted it. And the show is not justifying anything. It's just narrating a fictional story and letting us viewer to justify what was good or what was bad. Like Shahid Kapoor once said in an interview that if he starts justifying his character how will he suppose to play the character. So let the team Beyhadh narrate their story yaar.. If they start justifying each and every actions of each and every characters how will they narrate a story. Aajkal ke serials m morally sahi galat samjhaane ke chakkar mein Kahaani bechaari gayab rehti h. Soo happy that Sony is letting the team to portray such story.

Actually count me in..

Ok we can morally decide wether Maya was right or wrong... and obviously it's not right to kill anyone.. we always try to look at our serial leads to be those perfect ppl who are here to inspire everyone isn't it..

But beyhadh isn't one of those kind of shows.. it's a story and a very uncomfortable one because of its genre which is a thriller.. the whole point of a thriller is to push u at the edge of ur seat.. it could be a good thrill with romance like the kiss episode last week to a murder which unsettles u off ur comfort zone.. but it's meant to evoke such emotions..

We haven't seen such gruelling murder on TV in quite a long time and even if there is it's mostly by so called deadly villains of the show.. so we know the good will kill the bad in the end as per perception..

So I like the twistedness of the show completely.. u dont know what u will get to see tomorrow in the epi.. and that surprise element is fun..

Reverse roles and imagine rudra killing Maya's sis as revenge and probably it will be more easily accepted because he is a man. We as a society find it difficult that a woman was manipulative enough to make rishi kill himself.

It does not matter that rishi has spent 21 years with mj and Maya baby spent 5 months maybe or whatever time .we cannot calculate pain and agony. It is different for a man and woman in some ways . Death of a child sometimes makes u go unhinged

Like someone said in the forum some things cannot go away by asking for forgiveness

I don't think this has anything to do with gender, so it is better if we don't take that route. People expected different from maya jaisingh because she was shown to have conscious unlike maya mehrotra. additionally, Writers did a terrible job with writing and execution so it did not have the desired effect in some.

Smart and quality writing can make a huge difference. this is why shows with grey leads work in the west.

Totally agree with you. Even Beyhadh S01 was all about expect the unexpected but this time it's way beyond that. People who are looking forward to the Love story are heavily disappointed but the show was never intended to be a Love Story. I am glad they justifying the genre by not showing the justification of each and very actions. OK we know Maya will be dead.. Of course she has to. But I have a feeling that in the end Rudra will be alive and he might give an end to her story like publishing her last book.

I actually love Maya 2.0 more than Maya 1.0. Maybe that is because season 1 didn't really explore her character like they should have and didn't even bother to focus on the storyline and make it better. The whole focus was on maya. Here that is not the case. Storyline is on center stage and characters are driven by it. This Maya is not as damaged as Maya 1.0 because she has a conscience. It's just that she is blinded by revenge and based on what's been shown so far about how much she lost to roys, I think it is is understandable why she is the way she is. Revenge and justice might intertwine at some point in any fight but they def are not the same. People complaining about death of an innocent are probably confusing those two. In a way, rishi's death will give the same pain to roys that Maya felt when she lost her child. It is not about what is right. It is about getting even. Maya was agonized when she was manipulating rishi into killing himself but she went ahead anyway as she wanted to achieve her goal. She didn't kill him herself and we know she could have. This season Maya has more layers and the writers are exploring it in an amazing manner.

So far rudra is concerned, I hope he actually has the strength and an unbiased mind when he has to confront his family for what they did to Maya. Maya manipulated rishi but it is roys and especially MJ who is responsible for rishi's death. He is not going to forgive Maya for rishi. He might even end up becoming darker in his thirst for revenge but I def don't want to see him side with his family for anything. That would be a betrayal to his character. Also I don't want Ruan. I think we had one annoying best friends turned couple pair in season 1 to last our entire lifetime. I use to like ananya but right now she is really annoying and selfish. Rudra and Maya are either going to die or rudra is going to kill her or Maya will die fighting MJ. I think rudra will find out about rishi and Maya. I hope writers don't whitewash roys using rishi's death as a reason like they did in season 1 where they whitewashed everyone and turned Maya into a vamp. Whew! This got really long.

I agree. I would have understood had she not taken Rishi's life. How is she different to MJ? she isn't. She is just as bad. An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind. Stupid. She killed him and then they showed the baby scenes and expected us to have sympathy. I have no sympathy. If you lost a child, and were so devastated, you would NOT take a life. You are evil too - seriously, no sympathy
