Why does Ranveer never speak up for Deepika?

Be it during Padmavat or now Ranveer never spoke up for her. I see her praising him and supporting him always.

Even Varun spoke for her but not this man. So disappointed.

Because Ranveer knows Deepu's game....During Padmavat time...he knew ki SLB has hired Karni Sena for creating controversy...toh why would he speak when he knows ki its all fake.....aur abhi also he knew that Deepu Rani did all the tamasha for another controversy.....dono miyaan biwi ka ek he kaam hai....Ranveer will speak when 83 is about to release....sab SLB ke shishya hain...

Don’t think he loves her as much as DP loves him.

Padmavat was his film too he should have definitely spoke then as they were coming for her head and magnitude of protest was very high as compared to this. As a part of the cast he should have socially supported her.

Here with Champak I don't think there's any need of him to come forward and support her. That's like apne per par kulhadi marna

She is his wife, Of course he personally is taking care of her and supporting her( if the protest is bothering Deepu, agar sab plan tha toh woh beechra Kya karega) Film is out and public itself is staying away from it, Even if today Narendra modi urge people to watch it, People won't.

Tab bolega bolna bohat chahta tha bohat kuch but dprani ne rok Diya... She was affected so much.. still she held strong.

He is better off staying quiet. Soon he will meet up with Modi or other BJP ministers and officials and help her clean up the mess.

The bhakts already like him because of his Modi hugs. He will eventually make amends on his wife's behalf. These two will play the game like Akshay and Twinkle.

Meanwhile Aamir Khan is quietly meeting up with BJP ministers as all this is going on. Nobody is that interested in him so it doesn't get a lot of coverage, which is a great thing for him.
