On a serious note, I loved the pumice stone scene. Specially when she was rubbing it, she was getting red marks throughout her hands and necks. I liked that detailing. I felt that scene. I can think that she hid all those with make up the next day.
But woh kiss wali hafte se unke dimag ghaas charne nikal gayi !!!! This is why one shouldn't hype anything so much, that too two weeks prior. Today in the social media era, the pressure of public expectations can get too much to handle. And they can't blame the public if they were the ones to take them to that channe ke jhaad !!!! Neither could they take the kiss promo pressure nor the murder promo pressure. Plus trp and channel pressure toh hai hi !!! Sab milke swaha ho gaya !!!! Right now they have got overwhelmed and themselves have no idea what the hell they are doing.
Plus they are confused regarding the timeline. Makers want a one year extension but trps are not favorable. So they are confused about the pace as well. Mon-Thu tak build up ho raha. Then Fri me superfast promo wali cheese laga di----that's what happened last week. This week Mon se rajdhani, so logic ke saath aur zaada break up kar li !!!!
Same reason they are confused regarding backstory revealation. I personally like that the backstory isn't much revealed. Now I think they will lose the balance between backstory pace as well.
Next step is character assassination---Starting with Rudra. I can take his drunk proposal as impulsiveness. But today what he did with Ananya is beyond selfishness and a fckboish attitude. He is depriving Ananya from geting true love because he is feeling the urge to move on immediately. By ruining Rudra, they are risking their biggest USP. Ananya had the potential to be the most relatable character in itv and my favourite as well, instead she too is becoming selfish, delusional and impractical.
I just can hope one day India starts seasonal shows like the west. Then the makers wouldn't have to go through the instant pressure. Plus they will get time to think things through and properly edit. Then only thrillers can be convincing in this country.
In conclusion, this show can be very enjoyable if brains are shut down. But I just wish they concentrate atleast into minimal rationality. The door in the kiss or the whole murder scene didn't need so much brains or time---just a minimum attention. If they can't even afford that, then shouldn't hype the precaps so much. And 2ndly, it's better to reveal less in precap. The important episodes are like rewatching the promos and precaps combined.
