Ok, few things we can ignore saying they wanted to highlight the beyandh nafrat thing. But this was a beyhadh stupid move by maya. It didn't sound revengeful.
They concentrated too much on making this dark like basic Instinct.......and in the way forgot even minimal logic.
See, considering ITV we know we can't concentrate too much in loopholes. But ek limit hoti hai yaar !!!! Thriller kehke banayenge toh thodi brainwork toh banti hai !!!!
Pehle toh emotional scenes itne stupid hote hai ke we can't stop our reasoning brain from getting active. And then It's like we should be the ones to apologise for not being stupid !
To be frank, I don't give a damn about morality in characters. Whenever I see anything, I don't root for any character to win. Instead I concentrate on the present and enjoy the ride. I mostly love dark shows with anti heroes and psychological thrillers. I would have to be a psychopath to root for them. But I only have certain demands....and one of those is---- if a character is portrayed as smart, s/he should act smart. If a plan or scheme is claimed as flawless, I should be tearing my hair to find flaws in it. And trust me, i never try to find flaws. On the contrary I tend to intentionally ignore minor bloopers. Plus I hate spoilers.
But here----first of all, all the precaps are spoilers and over-hyped. I am not in twitter or Instagram. Instead the showmakers themselves give me spoilers.
Secondly, I can't enjoy any of the scenes because the makers think that the audience have IQ same as Siberia's temperature in winter. Throughout the kissing scene, I couldn't resist looking at the door and thinking it must be a dream. Throughout the murder, I waited for her to shoot a video because the tripod was there. And manipulation of Rishi was not at all convincing. This is the guy who ran away from a fire alarm. This guy almost fainted seeing Maya's blood. And she didn't even need to tell him to do it directly ? He himself reached to that conclusion and that was all the convincing he needed ? His hands didn't shake, didn't take away the knife even once, didn't hesitate a bit !!!??? Then he kept asking Maya whether he would be ok. The guy is in college. He doesn't have basic sense how veins work ? And so less blood !!!! How could I feel any pain if I felt he only fainted seeing the blood !!!!????
I won't even go in the postmortem and forensic discussions !!!!
And I don't care if it's ITV. If they can't handle simple logic then shouldn't have called this a thriller.
I don't care if she kills innocents or doesn't end up with Rudra or even kills Rudra at the end and shows she has never loved him. But i care whether the way she kills makes sense or can be traceable by just a forensic intern or a cbi constable !!!!
