I think Paras is over-crediting himself here like always! He chose Mahira over Shehnaaz simply because he analyzed it correctly that Mahira is very dumb, super loyal, can be controlled well, and is also not ambitious at all; whereas Shehnaz is cunning, selfish, can't be controlled, and is super ambitious.

In Vikas case tasks were designed in a way for him to win and moreover he knew 70 percent people before and did casting for them.
