Chapter 9:-
Rishabh lighted his cigar and sat on the garden bench.
'Glad to see you here, Miss Choubey.' said Rishabh, smirking.
' I don't think you have told Prerna about the plan and my involvement, Mr.Bajaj.' said Komolika, blowing air on her newly nail-polished nails.
' No. She knows nothing about it. I will inform her when time comes. By the way, when are you planning to put it in action?'
'Plan A is already in action, Mr. Rishabh Bajaj. Just wait and watch!' said Komolika and went inside the house.
In the evening:-
Shivani was helping Prerna to get ready for the Party.
Prerna wore a red net saree, diamond chokers and earrings. The makeup on her face just added a touch to her natural beauty and glow.
Shivani - 'Haye, meri didi ko kisi ki Nazar na lage!!!'
Rishabh called Shivani.
Shivani picked up the call.
'Haan, Jiju! Boliye!'
' Shivani, aur kitni der lagegi? I want to enter the room!'
'Chill, JiJu! Priyu Di aapko chorkar kahin nhi Jane wali hain!!!' replied Shivani, giggling.
'Shivi!' an embarassed Prerna yelled.
Shivani cut the call, leaving a smiling Rishab and angered Prerna.
Rishabh was pacing in the hall when Kukki came and hugged his legs tightly and smiled.
He picked her up.
'Wow! Meri princess Aaj bohot cute lag rhi hai!'
The child shied and buried her face in her father's chest ...
Rishabh chuckled softly.
Komolika came there.
Rishabh- Kukki, aap Mamma ko lekar aao.'
Kukki went upstairs.
Rishabh- Any progress?
Komo twisted a strand of her hair and said,'Mohini Basu is under my control.'
'Good.'
Komo went to the other side of the hall.
Maasi and Tanvi came down.

Prerna came down the stairs with Kukki and Shivani.
Maasi and Tanvi decided to tease Rishabh.
'Aaj woh bohot cute lag rhi hai na Rishabh?' Maasi asks sweetly.
'Yes, very beautiful and sweet. She is looking awesome in the saree.' said Bajaj, who was in his own world.😆
' I am talking about Kukki, Rishabh.' said Maasi.
Tanvi chuckled. 🤣
Rishabh scratched the back of his neck and went from there with an excuse of attending his guests. 😆
Prerna was seen shying at some comments from her family. No need to guess what she was shying at, Right? 😆
Tanvi - Okay, People! Dance time! Now Couples, come on !
The Basis were standing in a corner.
Anurag was dazzled by his ex Fiancée's beauty. 😔
The guests requested the Bajaj couple for a couple dance.
Hesitating at first, Rishabh Bajaj opened his palm for his wife.
'Can I have the honour to dance with this beautiful lady?' he asked, softly.
Prerna gave a soft smile and placed her soft palm on her husband.
Shekhar and Suman joined too.
Komolika - Chalo na Anu, hum bhi dance karte Hain!'
Anurag was not in the mood for that.
Komo - Mohini Aunty, aap please Anu ko boliye na!'
A disgusted Anurag went to dance with her.
The song started playing.
' You dance very well, Mr. Bajaj!'
' Koyi shak, Mrs. Bajaj?'
'Nahi... Toh...'
'You haven't seen my dance moves, yet!' said Rishabh, smirking.
'Are you challenging me?' asked Prerna, raising a brow.
' Kind off...' replied her husband, shrugging his shoulders.
Anurag was irritated with the intimacy and comfort shared by the Bajaj couple.
Komolika tried to extract some answers to her questions,. from Anurag, and she was successful in doing so.
PreRish were too lost in their dance. They showed the best moves...
The dance ended.
' You dance very well, Mrs. Bajaj.' said Rishabh, smiling.
After putting Kukki to sleep, Prerna was proceeding to her room when someone called her from behind.
'Prerna!'
It was the Junior Basu's voice.
With a disgusted look, Prerna turned around and said, ' Kya hai, Anurag?'
' Tum Mr. Bajaj se Shaadi Karke Khush ho na?'
'Haan Bohot Khush. Any problem?'
' Nahi toh.. Bye the way, kaafi faidemand deal thi yeh Tumhaare liye!'
'What do you mean?' asked an irritated and confused Prerna.
' No I mean Bajaj se Shaadi Karke name, fame, paisa ke Saath Saath tumhe muft mein ek Beti bhi mili.' said Anurag, smirking.
'Don't dare to drag my daughter in this, Anurag! Kukki is innocent. You blame me instead!' Prerna was boiling in rage.
' Oh yes! Muft mein ek Beti! Oh yes, yes! Muft, Muft, Muft!'
'Anurag!' Prerna roared and in the next moment, Anurag felt his right cheek burning.
Prerna slapped him!
Prerna's eyes were red in anger.
She ran away from there.
In PreRish Room -
Rishabh was busy with his laptop.
He was planning his next move when Prerna came in.
' Prerna...Woh Aap...'
His eye fell on her red face.
He guessed the matter.
Prerna sat on the bed. Rishabh closed his laptop. He went out and came back a little later.
He sat beside his wife and gave her the Belgian chocolate which he brought for her.
' Chocolate? For me?'
'Yes. To lighten up your mood.'
Prerna smiled.
'Par aapko kaise pata ki yeh flavour mera favourite hai?' a puzzled Prerna asked.'
' Some questions don't have answers, Prerna.' said Rishabh and took his share of the chocolate which she gave him.
'Huh?'
