Most actress-led movies are not commercial. Did you think Pari and NH10 were commercial? What about Mardaani and Hitchki?

I agree that having a disfigured face is a turn-off for the audience. All handicaps are. But they were expecting it take an opening if they grabbed so many screens in a clash.

And the only actress who actually has it in her to pull the crowd to theater is alia bhatt

It could not make even 5 crore on opening day.that is Deepika's star power.
