But why will she tell MJ? If they are an engaged (or to be engaged) couple, they should sort their issues on their own. She should question Rudra directly if he is attracted to Maya. Actually she knows the answer is yes, that's why she did not want to hear anymore of Rudra's truth. She was being selfish, like a real human. Now she has to face it's consequences too, like a real person.

Rishi isn't fool, he is naive.. Because sometimes it shows he has got brains. Right now he wants to prove he is a man, that's why he is after women and not girls. Also Maya's enigmatic "beyhadh" aura attracts him (bed-fire scene). Also he trusts her and thinks she is serious about him.
