Nafrat to chodo, bhagne ki limit to dekho - seedha Ananya ko propose kar diya. Aur Ananya ke dimaag ka jawaab nahi. Even after knowing that Rudra is feeling something so strongly for another woman, she goes ahead and agrees to marry him. There definitely is a cache here, Ananya does not come across as a Saanjh, I think she agreed for another reason. Kuch to gadbad hai Daya😎

Ananya testing Maya - Ananya is a very sharp girl. She understands everything. Tonight, I felt she was testing Maya, trying to see whether she is good enough for Rudra. Like a good friend would do. Ananya is confident that Rudra loves Maya, it does not matter what Rudra says, she knows. She wants to see how much Maya wants Rudra. Ananya questions her about her taste in books, about her home, her reasons to sign up with RuAn, her snide remarks about being friends now. She also observes the eye locks, Maya always looking at Rudra, Rudra also sneaking looks of Maya, Maya's antics to egg Rudra to confront his feelings, Maya's look when Ananya asks her that someday a man may change her opinion that she would forget revenge for love. Ananya isn't stupid, she is a woman who knows what another woman feels. Rudra's struggle to not fall in love again, whatever the reason - Ananya understands that Rudra has fallen for Maya. She also knows Rudra is very stubborn, she knows she has to create a situation where Rudra has no choice but to embrace love without inhibitions. I hope I am thinking right. If I am - go Ananya go, do what is right for this show and let me give you hugs and kisses when you are done.🤗

Truth & Dare - So the episode begins on a game of truth and dare and some of our observations are apt. RIshi does not give away the name of his girlfriend, he does have a name - Baby. Good save Rishi.😉 The dare Rishi gives to Maya to hug him, and both Ananya and Rudra reprimand him knowing Maya's 'touch' issues. More strongly Rishi gets an earful from Rudra to draw a line when behaving with women. But Maya relents and gives in to the hug and the reaction Rudra gives, as expected, Rudra walks out of Maya's home. Ananya observes both Rudra and Rishi. Ananya sees the childishness of Rishi, but she also sees the rage in Rudra, who is gradually getting territorial with Maya. But even then, he is not willing to yield to love, he isn't willing to answer Maya's questions. I wonder how will Maya deal with Rudra, once he accepts love

MayRa 'Kiss' - The most anticipated kiss for two weeks was honestly a let down because of bad editing and lack of continuity. The angst of both Maya and Rudra after the kiss was not shown properly. For Rudra, we saw his angst. He believes he is broken beyond repair to fall in love again. He is really very stubborn. God knows what will drive some sense into him. I have my hopes on Ananya. Sorry bro, but you already have fallen for Maya. But for Maya, we did not get too much in-depth, partly because of Ankit barging in to take her to his Santa clause - MJ uncle. But the moment was real for both. Maya has realized that she too is falling for Rudra. And emotionally getting involved is something that could hamper her game. She cannot let that happen. I hope Rajiv drives some sense into her. Only he seems to have courage to speak his mind to Maya. He should remind her of using her very own dialogues - Dil koi hadh nahi pehchanta, dil beyhadh hota hai.

Ankit vs Maya - Ankit returns again to hand over the prized possession to his Santa Claus to get more gifts out of him. Maya struggles, gives a good fight but is unsuccessfully kidnapped. Rudra returns to answer Maya because he thinks that she deserves answers. But I think that they aren't able to meet and Maya has to confront Ankit on her own. I don't have much to say here. I just want Maya to give him a good beating so that he never forgets. I want her to beat the crap out of Ankit and send him to the hospital.😡🤢

Precap - So what looks like Maya is putting up a good fight to escape the clutches of Ankit. Tomorrow will be a test of Maya's strength and wit. I want her to teach Ankit a lesson of a lifetime, and leave him to be torn apart by Mrityunjay. Mrityunjay will not come face to face with Maya right now. I guess it will happen after Rudra and Maya are together. The faces of Rishi and Mrityunjay and the entire Roy clan will be a delight to watch😆.

Going by how emotional and vulnerable Maya is, she may break up with Rishi and tell him about the trauma and pain she went through because of him and dump him for good. Dumping Rishi will be a big blow to his ego, he will do everything to get Maya back, even if he has to struggle with Mrityunjay. So part of Maya's planning will succeed - driving Rishi away from his family.

With regards to MayRa, I guess since Jennifer wasn't shooting, the CVs proposed to do fillers with engagement drama and probably a death drama. I think before the engagement happens, Ananya will make Rudra accept his love and then someone will die - I am not sure who. Let us see. But probably Maya won't be behind this. She isn't the ultimate villain.

After all this, I also think Maya will go back to being the lonesome and aloof Maya, because frankly, Rudra rejected her in his own way. So she may pull away from him. And Rudra will have a tough road ahead to convince her of his love for her. I hope Ananya and Nandini help him in this, maybe even Rajiv. I guess this pulling apart is needed so that both can wholeheartedly accept their feelings. Only then the ultimate game - Mrityunjay vs Maya will full-fledged begin. Let's see what is in store for us.

Those are my thoughts for tonight. Please share yours.

Amazing post Sohini 😳

I loved today's episode and also the kiss (I'm probably in minority 😆). There were overtones MB throughout the episode. But here Maya was Shakuni and Maya was Draupadi, sab jagah hai par kahin bhi nahi. Ananya was observing her well. You are right only a woman can understand a woman's mind/heart.. but to me she looked more jealous than concerned. Tomorrow when Rudra proposes her, her POV would become more clear.

Maya continued playing her game, pushing it till the gamble of truth and dare, directly connecting with the gambling in MB. There are direct parallels. Rishi suggests the game, Rudra is angry when Rishi wants to hug Maya, and Maya gives in. But there is difference also. In the gamble of truth and dare, Maya is playing her own game with the two brothers. Her eyes and smile are same, but it means different to different people, based on their nazar for her.

The makers promoted the kiss for like two weeks, but in the episode they kept it less dramatic, realistic, not a big deal. I watched the epi twice, and I felt it better than my first watch in the second time. Many times high expectations put cold water on otherwise normal things.. Also they needn't promote this for two weeks and raise the bar so high..

I loved how it happened, two people attracted to each other get slowly pulled in an embrace, their lips collide like their passions had. But there were bloopers about entry-exit etc, I don't want to go there.. MayRa's reaction to the kiss was passionately painful. I feel the kiss was necessary to overwrite Maya's memories of her old lover and the old hurt. I think she was about to confess her truth to Rudra, had it really been him. Rudra's reaction is too extreme, he wants to trap another girl in a loveless marriage just to escape his feelings. I hope, as you do, Ananya does the right thing.

In the last scene, I get Agyatwaas kind of feeling. Maya is kidnapped, her mother and Rajeev are holiday. Basically nobody knows where they are.

And, I am much better now. Now you wouldn't see me skip commenting. 😊

Tomorow's epi is gonna be exciting.. I wonder who would save Maya and also whose funeral ceremony was happening..

I really enjoyed today's episode, it wasn't perfect, or the writing wasn't watertight, but it was important to take the story forward. I am still not sure what Maya had initially planned by inviting all three of them to her house. The only 'anjaam' we got was her realising that her fight for revenge is not only about brains anymore, but somewhere, her heart also got involved without her knowledge.

Like I said in the DT, Rudra coming back to kiss her wasn't exactly random. The editing was choppy and rushed, but the kiss was okay. If you analyse the previous scenes, right from the cake scene till the hug, all it did was act as a buildup to the kiss. She flirted with him, seduced him. Rudra saw Rishi at Maya's house, he asks Rishi to not help Maya so much. He wanted her to open the gift that he brought for her, probably after having a proper round table conference with Ananya, and Rishi took over and opened it instead. Rudra didn't like that either. And the final nail in the coffin was the hug. Rudra was so angry that he wouldn't even look at the hug. He immediately decides that enough is enough, let's call it a day. It bothered him that much that he couldn't even stand to be around her anymore, lest he did something regrettable. But, before leaving, he gives her a lingering look, as if hoping that he could somehow leave an impact on her. So he returns to her. The way he pulls her in, arms wrapping tightly around her and one arm caressing hers, as if replacing another man's touch with his. The kiss was just his heart nudging him to take a chance. And even in the aftermath of it all, he doesn't regret the kiss, he regrets leaving like that, so abruptly. It will be interesting to see how he will face her the next day, assuming he won't save her from Ankit.

I want Maya to save herself from Ankit, maybe she can be bruised so Rudra's possessive can come out again and he can try (and fail) to curb it down.

I am hoping what you said about Ananya turns out to be true. It doesn't fit with her character. She knows he doesn't love her, she has seen the way he looks at Maya, she has craved for that look for years, and he tells her that she gives him comfort. So maybe she says yes to push him to the edge, which might force him to finally come to his senses and accept that he is in love with Maya.

I am sure MJ won't see Maya, she will either save herself before he can see her, or someone else will rescue her. I am very excited for MJ and Maya's meet but I doubt it will happen so soon. She still hasn't laid a solid foundation against MJ.

I hope she does use this Ankit fiasco to break up with Rishi. I feel icky seeing her romance both the brothers at the same time. It's messed up. 😆 Also, considering how Rudra was betrayed by the "woman" he loved, I doubt he wants the history repeating itself again. 😆

Firstly I loved the episode.. I am ready to forgive few things here and there.. but shivjen chemistry was spot on.. I dont have very expectations with ITv shows because of their limitations in terms of what they can air.. but surely no show aired such a heartfelt lip lock in 30 days of the show.. I enjoyed it a lot..

Ananya like u put aptly is trying to read Maya actually.. she even put her hand forth in friendship.. even with her insecurity around MayRa she still wants to make Maya her friend.. Ananya is a good friend of Rudra and making sure that he is in love with the right person is kind of a good thing for a friend to do..

Rudra is in denial actually.. he has fallen in love but accepting it is like breaking what he held on to for 10 years.. the truth and dare constant questioning of Maya led to constant piercing of his heart.. Maya was playing with Rudra and she did not expect him to return.. when he actually kept his pain in front of her she was also carried away.. the kiss was a ice breaker for both of them who have kept their feelings locked up since 10 years..

It's good that Maya also admitted to being affected by Rudra now.. she needs to focus on her revenge.. and the whole Rudra marrying Ananya will put her back to track for now and for longetivity of the show too.

Precap I am more for how Maya saves herself than Rudra proposing Ananya.. because we know MayRa will be an end game.. Ananya will step back.. because if she ever asks Rudra if he loves her..he wont have an answer. I wouldn't have liked Ananya heart breaking If Rudra just drops her..rather she shows spine to let go of him herself.. she will be less hurt that way..

Okay and we cannot forget Rishi who is also around with Maya and dreaming of marrying her. What bet that next Rudra will know that Rishi gf is Maya.. both will be in a big fix..

I feel the eunuch will save Maya who she gave money to.. Rudra missed her in the car and there is no way he can trace her to some place.. it will be a wake up call for Maya to get back to revenge track..

Nice post. The lil flashback that Rudra had during the truth n dare game, looked like it was MJ kissing the girl Rudra loved.. that could be so hurtful on so many levels. His father cheating on his mother and his gf cheating on him.. kinda explains why he hates mj so much, tries to keep Rishi away from talking about his secret gf n his general disbelief in being able to love someone again.. I think her ex is returning back as per some tweets I saw today.. Also if she indeed broke his heart like that, she must be a negative character..now if Rudra later finds out, which m sure is gonna happen at some point, that Maya was "dating" his brother when they kissed, imagine the hurt and rage.. Maya is right now trapped in her own mayajaal coz of the feelings she has developed for Rudra.. n Rishi is also gonna find out someday that she was only playing with his feelings.. how is he gonna react? If Rudra comes to know about it, he will be furious on her.. so yeah, things not going Maya's way at all.. plus this Ankit might expose her to MJ before she intended to.. tough times ahead for her.. not sure of her plan like yourself.. but I guess the makers want it to be this confusing n ambiguous.

I love reading your review! Also what you said was accurate, the hug was a part of the game and he was guilt ridden so the pain (Rudra).

all in all, I’m so so excited for the next few episodes and this one already gave me thrills even though I’ve only seen some clips on insta. I’m waiting for them to release a new promo now

Maya was Krishna and Draupadi. Krishna because she was using her head to draw in Rudra into her trap. But then the kiss was with the Draupadi, which was her heart talking. In Mahabharat, Draupadi always loved Arjun, no one else. So there was a duality in Maya, torn between head and heart. Regarding Ananya, I beg to differ. I did not find her jealous, rather skeptical. Ananya has read Rudra's body language around Maya, but she wants to understand whether Maya is as into Rudra, as much as Rudra is into her. She looked like she wanted to know whether Maya is good enough for Rudra. Ananya is very sensible. She has understood that she needs to let go of her love for Rudra, but before that she needs to be sure that Maya is the right woman. That is what I feel.

Maya is playing a game, but I failed to understand this invitation game. What did she achieve apart from Rudra succumbing to his feelings for a split second? What did she get from Rishi? We don't get any insight into her planning for the last one week. We are watching a thriller, where is the fun of we do not understand the planning and plotting. 👎🏼

The show is a reverse Mahabharat in my opinion. Maya's Draupadi faced insult 10 years ago. Her father and brother were murdered. She was in vanvaas for 7 years. Last 3 years till now she has been in agyaatvaas because she does not want to be recognized, so she is Maya Jaisingh - the acclaimed author for thriller fiction. The only difference is the Kurus (Roys) is not looking for Maya.

And, I am much better now. Now you wouldn't see me skip commenting. 😊

Honestly I felt that Maya is only going to save herself. I am surprised someone is going to die so soon.

Interesting points 👏 Specially @Purple.

@last line: There was always hints thrown about death. Whenever Rudra about talked love, he mentioned death. So someone had to die as he fell in love (screwed up logic ) Now almost all characters have something important to give to the story, so who would they kill this soon?

@bold: Beautifully written. I agree with you completely. He is so territorial. I don't know how will he hold himself back when he plans to get engaged to Ananya and how will he control himself when he embraces his love for Maya.
