well i written about the same in another thread...🤓 i am not sure mj was maya's lover...coz breakup ke baad koi itna ganda wala revenge nhi lega...mj must have killed maya's lover because she didn't accepted proposal of mj...tab revenge lena thoda justified lagega...🐷

We shouldn't forget that Maya herself told Rudra that whom she thought was her Prince charming and loved him limitless was actually the devil in disguise and he broke her beyond repair.

Maya also said in epi 1 " u saw my beyhadh love now u ll see beyhadh nafrat" so her love is indeed alive .....high possibility it's MJ

Yes MJ was Maya's lover and he used her to climb ladder of success. But it will be worth a time waste if Maya will be taking revenge only for heartbreak. As we can see Maya hates whole Roy family but she hates MJ the most. If we are shown that MJ and others involved actually did something very disastrous to Maya than only can her revenge be justified. Otherwise just taking revenge because he broke up won't make it a big reason.
