Stand By Your Man - Ridzy Style

Stand By Your Man - Ridzy Style

Sometimes it's hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
Always keep your options open. Someone better may come along any day now. Take your time being sure about him. While you are still making up your mind, happily accept his love, his tokens of affection, his family heirloom and the like. If he starts getting too serious, pour cold water on his claims by using the "we are just friends" line. "Main sure nahin ki hamare beech kya hai. Sabse pahle hum dost hain" is a great way to stand by your man.

But if you love him, you'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
Try to understand him? - what's that? The relationship should be all about you, you and you, What you need, what makes you happy, what makes you sad. Make him walk on egg shells all the time. When he slips up, forgiveness should be far from your mind. Lecture him instead on "sahi aur galat". If he complains, tell him "tum mujh se thak gaye ho", that's a great way to stand by your man.

And if you love him, oh be proud of him
'Cause after all he's just a man.
The way to do this is by always making him feel that he is not "layak" of your love. After he performs a heroic act, reprimand him with -"kuch ho jata toh, mujhe superman nahin chahiye". When he voices this concern, failing to reassure him of his worth each time, is a great way to stand by your man.

Stand by your man, give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When he is looking for assurance turn away. When he is fighting his demons, walk away. Never learn that your touch means the world to him. Deny him the hug, the kiss that have power to heal. Rejecting him with a "Yeh theek nahin hai", is a great way to stand by your man.

Stand by your man, and show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can.
Hide your love from the world at all costs. Not even your closest family and friends should know about it. Making him feel that your are ashamed of your relationship, that you are still not sure, that you are "sochne par majboor" is a great way to stand by your man.

I am neither an R basher nor an A supporter. I am sure R has very good reasons for what she did and why she did it. This post is not an attempt at understanding her POV.

Today's episode reminded me of this song and hence I took the liberty of making this post.

Thx Sonia. On a serious note it is really sad to watch AR now a days. For all the times A has supported and stood by R, it would have been nice for once to see her reach out to him.

oooh sona how could you do this to ridzy 😭 😭 😭. She is such a seedhi sadhi, simple girl and being simple is complex. She just doesnt understand that Armaan loves her. 😭 😭 She is standing up to Armi, went and got him back inspite of him being the street fighter. 😭 She is such a good "dost". My Ridzy is so hurt and going through so much already becos of Armi, how could you hurt her more 😭 You see she is still wearing payal and kadha and loves armi to bits but just that she cannot say it out. Armi is acting like a savage now 😡 🤢. Poor ridzy, instead of giving her a hug and standing by her look what you have done 😭 😭 😭. Such a long weekend, am so depressed, cant see Ridzy being so sad. Hamara kya hoga. 😭
