So, as expected, tonight was an explosive episode, where Rudra's 'dad' struck lightning on the family, Rudra's 'Mrityunjay Roy' brought a thunderstorm in the Roy household.
Roys' Family Time - So, everyone was delighted tonight at the Roy household with Rishi joining RuAn Publications which now officially is owned by Mrityunjay Roy, unaware to Ananya and especially Rudra. Mrityunjay Roy always gets what he wants, because none of the Roys like to lose, it seems. So as seen today, Rudra proves to be Maya's savior in the Roy house, where his instincts to not let Mrityunjay Roy come to know about the love life of his sons come in handy. Rishi is reminded of informing about Maya to his family based on his conversation with Maya, but Rudra's instincts save Maya from being revealed to the family. Goes on to tell that Rishi will try to dubao Maya and Rudra will have to bachao Maya. Mrityunjay Roy celebrates his victory over-controlling his both sons and shows how happy he is on their not-so-independent professional lives at RuAn publications. Ananya manages to stall Rudra and Maya's conversation for the sake of family time, which shows that Maya will try to drive a wedge between Rudra and Roys, but Ananya will always try to bring them together, but for how long Ananya? Will she still try to keep them together once she knows what is the reality of her favorite Mrityunjay Roy and Maya's "real story".
Maya's game - The best part about Maya is her adaptability in her game against Mrityunjay. Based on Mrityunjay's move, she changes her moves. In fact, Maya uses Mrityunjay's moves against him only. Utilizing his own manipulative tactics Maya plans to destroy him, and Rudra will be her knight on this chessboard. Mrityunjay coerced Rajiv to get hold of RuAn's shares. Maya further injured Rajiv and coerced Rudra to get him justice. As expected, she had attacked Rajiv to use his injury to injure Rudra's ego and Mrityunjay's supposed victory, and she plans to spare no one - but for how long Maya? What happens when love changes this game?
MayRa confrontation - The next day she confronts Rudra on how low he has stooped just to gain an upper hand on her, using his dad. I must give it to her, she used the appropriate words and appropriate language to bruise Rudra's self-respect/ego and also challenged him to get justice for Rajiv because she doesn't need it. She needs to be able to trust him again, because, in Rudra's eyes, Mrityunjay has coerced Rajiv to give up his stake in his company and created a false image of his in Maya's eyes, and given his situation, he cannot lose Maya. And the fire she was breathing from her eyes, even made Ananya and Rishi go silent.
This scene is significant in two ways: One being Maya gave out a lot on her past when she said, "Aur kitne paap karwaye hain apne baap ke haathon, aur kitni zindagiyaan barbaad ki hai, aur kitnon ke ghar jalaaye hai." So we are clear now that the reason for Maya's bitterness was Rudra or someone who was presented as Rudra before her. The real Rudra is not aware of this, well because he wasn't in India at that time. But Maya remembers him by name and by bracelet - and every single person in that house was aware of this. But the reason to manipulate and destroy her is yet to come to the fore. Since it all started with "Rudra" back then, this battle's primary warrior will be Rudra too, but in this game, he will fight from Maya's side - first unknowingly and later willingly. And this also is a replication of Mrityunjay's game - move-by-move.
The second bit was how jovial and cheerful he was when he came and greeted Maya. The first part of the scene looked like a boyfriend trying to console his angry girlfriend. It was way too cute.❤️ But what is annoying is the consistency of the touch issue. It is there all the time with Rishi, and with Rudra, it is not there most of the time, so why highlight it tonight?
The heated argument - Mrityunjay's antics always make Rudra go back on his words and this argument was a test of Rudra's ability to deal with Mrityunjay shielding Maya, in this case, Rajiv. The confusion is etched on Mrityunjay's face, because he did coerce and threaten him using his ways, but did not beat the crap out of Rajiv. But isn't that one and the same thing. If Rajiv had lasted a while longer with Mrityunjay, he would have done the same. But Rudra touched a nerve when he pushed Aamir away when he tried hurting Rajiv. That angered Mrityunjay very much. He can take anything on himself, but not his people, not his circle - that is when you can witness Mrityunjay at his worst. Let's see how he relents tomorrow - because frankly, Rudra will not.
CCTV Ankit - Ankit who has been planted as Mrityunjay's CCTV is heading to RuAn to keep an eye on the Roy brothers. But Ankit venturing into Maya's lair leads him to hear her voice which doesn't go unnoticed by Mrityunjay. Both Antara and Mrityunjay have heard and remember Maya's voice, surprisingly. Anyway, Maya missed Ankit's vision. But Ankit is in deep trouble with Maya.😈
Well, a good and thrilling episode. I enjoyed watching it. I am done with my ramblings tonight. Let's hear yours.
