He was talking abt midnight eviction when he started ROFLing.

So I think it was related to Arhan. He was also making joke on lock of Rashmi’s flat.

So my guess is he must have thought of some joke in his mind like.... after midnight eviction Arhan can go and stay in Rashmi’s flat since he has keys but what if they have really changed the lock ? something of that sort...

It’s not that Shukla did not fall for the bait. Shukla was super pissed by the caller of the week and could not wait for weekend ka waar to get over and pounce on Rashmi. In normal circumstances he too would laugh like a hyena!

After his interaction with COTW, Shukla was ready to blow his top and Rashmi's was already in a vulnerable situation as a result of this. Now that Arhaan was up for eviction, (which they postponed as a precautionary releif to Rashmi) Salman might have laughed at Rashmi's condition. Its called 'Gareebi mein aata geela'.
