The way police treats the wife and daughters of terrorists.

In Anurag Kashyap's movie Black Friday, it was shown that the police locks up wife and children of terrorists, beats them, abuses them, assaults them, to make the terrorists confess their crimes. Police's reasoning is that there is no other way out to take out information from terrorists. Because even third degree doesn't work on them. The only way is to humiliate their wife and daughters which the terrorists can't handle.

My question is that the way police really worked to take out information about 1993 bomb blasts? Is that the way police and intelligence works in general to take out information from terrorists? We also saw in Baby how Akshay holds the family of a rogue agent as hostages to take out information from him about a bomb's location. So all this really happens in real life and is it justified?

Why only wives and daughters? What about husbands and sons?

How would we know? Do you think they will telecast that how they extracts the information from a mass murderers?

It is not justified.. Bt If this information can save 1000s of life n there is no other way what can they do? Life is not fair:(
