Actually it's to early to predict anything in S1 shivanya loose her power due to guruma poisonous khanjar but regain by performing a pooja on janmashtami as her power are got deactivated by khanjar even that time she skipped the pooja so lately it was performed by shesha and guruji than she loose power after consummating her marriage but again got power for 24hrs by a pooja in which suryvanshi has to sacrifice there power.

In S2 first it was mentioned that a human-naagin child got there power on 25th birthday .But if before turning 25th if they got married to human they never become naagin shivani got her power at 25th birthday and loose her power temporarily after consummation but rocky got naag powers at 27th birthday as he is takshak king.

So concept of gaining power and loosing power Cvs always changes . So if they want to make naintara a naagin they can do it in any way.
