A Special World ( Sagar and Vidya)
A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.
Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.
And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

Its been a year and more to be precise, since we launched into a journey of immense love, adulation and craziness over our beloved couple. They may have adorned into different attires and lives, phases may have passed and come, but still the mark they have etched into our hearts remains as a beautiful sparkle untouched. First as mentally ill Sagar and illiterate Vidya, then as recovered Sagar and literate Vidya and now as Amar and Divya. So on this occasion before I say anything more, I'd like to share a short scene of mine.
When they Re-United:
There were stars so high, twinkling the night away with its radiance and beauty. Yet the moon stood out more, its white light was like a sheet of beauty draped over earth that blended into the blue-black night. It may sound like an extremely beautiful night, but it was a normal one, nights like we witness every day, but what made it so special, were the feelings and emotions twirling inside of her and the man next to her. She tried to say something to break the silence that hung over them, but she felt tongue tied for some reason. She bit her lip and squeezed her fingers by her sides, reflecting over the terrible things she had done to him, not knowing, unaware. Never in her nightmares had she ever thought she, would be the reason of her beloved, Sagar's tears. As if understanding the storm of emotions bursting in her, Sagar covered her hand with his. He stopped walking and looking into her innocent, watery eyes. He watched painfully as that tear made its way down her cheeks and with the tip of his finger, gently rubbed it off her face and kissed it. 'tumhare ankhon mein asoo kyun hai Vidya?' Unable to stand it any longer, neither the burning pain nor the joy and excitement all rolled into one, she abruptly ran into his arms and hugged him, like she would never let him go. Sagar wrapped his arms around Vidya and smiled as his own eyes glistened as well. He softly murmured into her hair 'Vidya hum saath hain ab, joh tha woh beet chuka hai aur ab humein koi alag nahi kar sakta.' With that, Vidya trembled even more and her tears were unstoppable as she cried into his soft, white shirt, clutching him even more tightly. Through her sobs, she began to say 'lekhin mai apne aap ko kaise maaf karoongi, ke maine aap ke saath jo kiya..woh koi bhi aurat apne pyar ki saath nahi karti..hum kitne abhaage hain, aap humare saamne the aur aap ko peechaana nahi..' Sagar unwrapped his arms around her and pulled her back slowly. He leaned in close, looking into her eyes, he rubbed off the tears ever so gently. 'lekhin main jaanta hoon, tum har aurat se bilkul alag ho, tumhari jaisi saadgi toh sirf savere ki jal lad sakta hai, tumhara mere liye pyar, toh dhoop aur raat se bhi badkar hai, kya mai nahi jaanta? Waise main tumhse naraaz toh hoon Vidya.' At this Vidya started, her face almost breaking into another bout of tears but Sagar gently cupped her face into his palms. 'Tum yeh sab lekar bet gayi hoon, jab ke hum kitne arse baad mile hai..tumhe meri koi bhi chinta nahi..' Vidya blushed at these lines. Suddenly, Sagar took off his hands from her face and carried her in his arms. 'yeh kya kar rahe ho? neeche utchariye..' Vidya's giggles and Sagar's laughter filled the silent night with a melody that rang through the night. Water splashed and the night looked on as Sagar and Vidya splashed water at each other, carrying joy and love into the calm blue-green waters.
