It's sad to see people, celebrities - big and small, come on this platform and so easily lie, falsify, dissemble, distract, manipulate and literally strangle truth.
And a young brave person is literally trodden on for daring to speak up.
When it was the channel, the creatives, ex-contestants even the old we-know-he-does-this host I was hurting for Asim but since yesterday my heartbreak is complete! Rohit Shetty?! Why him too??
I know him no more than any other hindi movie fan but I respected him ...more than the pseudo-respectable SK anyday.
But, he too told us - the audience that we are not only blind but stupid as well.
So, we the independent, mentally able, discerning viewers are told that what we see everyday is a lie. We don't have the cognitive ability to understand and process the truth. And we have to buy their version of the truth. And if they hammer it (the fake news) everyday, through celeb/VIP after celeb/VIP, it has to be the truth, right?
And that truly akela and brave boy-man who takes loads of shit daily is given a truck load of shit again by these two big men of Bollywood this weekend.
No one deals with SS's ugly, soul-numbing abuses or his complete shirking of household work but ASIM? How dare he still stand tall and unbroken?
(Actually even Rashmi and Arhaan have been equally vilified and humiliated in this season and made culprits and their personal lives trashed here by the makers and the host themselves.) But this is about Asim today.
I applaud and salute Asim's mental strength. Because that's all I can do.
Sorry Asim. Hope you have a great life and shine bright once you get out of this sh*thole called BB.
Young people today are being let down by the very elders and idols we look upto. It's happening all around us. So hard to keep our hope and optimism and ideals and convictions.
